Morgana and her two new friends exited the train once they had arrived at the Hogsmeade station. They were then directed into boats, "first years, first years, over here." (Sorry but I am not going to attempt to write Hagrid's accent.) Morgana noticed the way the giant man spoke to her 'twin' before he looked at the other first years again, "C'mon, follow me, anymore first years? Mind your step, now! First years follow me!"

They all followed him, some more steady than others as a lot of the kids slipped and stumbled as they followed the half-giant down a steep narrow path. "You'll get your first sight of Hogwarts in a sec." Hagrid said over his shoulder to the eleven year olds following him, "just around the bend here."

There was a loud, "Ooooh" from the majority of the students as they caught their first sight of the school that would be their home for the next seven years. All of the first years stared in awe at the sight in front of them.

"No more than four to a boat!" So Morgana, Sebastian and Draco were in a boat with another boy with shaggy brown hair and brown eyes. The dark haired girl introduced herself to him and his eyes widened much like Draco and Sebastian earlier. But he introduced himself as Heir Theodore Nott Jr., but he preferred to be called Theo.

Then the boats started moving once everyone was boarded, glided over the lake which was as smooth as glass, everyone was silent as they stared up at the great castle as it towered overhead, as they drew closer to the cliff on which it stood.

"Head's down!" the half-giant yelled out as the first of the boats reached the cliff, everyone bent their heads down and the tiny boats carried them through a curtain of ivy. They came into a wide opening in the cliff face, they glided through a dark tunnel, which seemed to be taking them directly under the castle, until the boats came to a stop in an underground harbor of sorts.

They all departed the boats and the boy who lost his toad on the train finally found it, as the half-giant spoke to him about the small creature and he was safely back with Neville.

They all climbed a set of stone stairs and crowded around a huge oak front door. Hagrid then knocked on the door, three times. It swung open at once and a tall, black-haired witch in emerald robes stood there. She had a very stern face.

"The first years, Professor McGonagall."

"Thank you Hagrid. I will take them from here." She then pulled the door open wider and ushered the children inside. They were led into a somewhat small empty chamber as the students looked on in awe of their surroundings, "Welcome to Hogwarts." Professor McGonagall started, "the start of term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your Houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory and spend free time in your house common room. The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each house has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rule-breaking will lose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the House Cup, a great honor. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours." Each new student was listening intently to what the older witch was saying.

"The Sorting Ceremony will take place in a few minutes in front of the rest of the school. I suggest you all smarten yourselves up as much as you can while you are waiting." She looked around the room, eyeing a few of them as she said the last scentace.
