Gulf's pov:-the day of proposal:-

Gulf was sitting in his office doing some paper work ,when his thoughts started wandering.

It's the day i have been waiting for since the first time i started working on this mission.saint said i should look in this case myself because the deal was one of the biggest we have ever gotten but what i didn't expect was ,

Ring ring ring ring ring ring ring

Gulf was woken up from his dreams when his phone rang.it was saint calling .

Hello saint. Gulf said answering the phone.

Hello zhi ,i just called to ask ,is everything ready ,we can't mess up anything today.

Saint , don't worry everything is going to be okay ,we are ready ,i called James and he said our men are on the venue ,you should check once again ,gulf said puffing a cigarette.

Hmm ,i will check with everyone again ,i have already checked with the snippers they are on their assigned spots ,i think you should come soon as possible ,the determined time of attack is only 1hour later , saint said as he checked his surroundings, keeping an eye on every movement .

Okay coming i was thinking of calling him ,i will come in ,i think 30 minutes.till then make sure everyone including you is safe .gulf said and hung up .

After that he called mew and talked to him for a while ,mew asked him to come to the venue and gulf hung up after some sweet words.

On the venue:-

Gulf went to the venue and as he had to pretend he didn't know anything he called mew again to ask him where he was ,mew said that he will ask Perth to go get him ,to which gulf agreed and after sometime Perth came to take gulf to the main venue where mew was going to propose to him ,gulf went along with it and Perth asked him to close his eyes .

Gulf did as perth said and they soon reached the place where mew was going to propose to him .when gulf opened his eyes ,he saw mew was on his knees ,there was a box in his hand , probably rings ,he was also saying something while holding the box in his hand,but gulf didn't have time to hear what mew was saying he was looking everywhere to observe his surroundings.gulf saw saint in one corner while he was shaking his head ,gulf turned to observe other people ,when his gaze landed on mew ,who was asking him to get married ,gulf was a little flustered,he wanted to say something when a gun shot was heard .

Here ,it is, i was still observing the surroundings when someone held my hand and dragged me behind the table ,when i looked ,it was mew suppasit.ah, is he trying to protect me ,i was still in my thoughts when i heard other voice ,it was Perth ,he was shouting saint's name ,when i looked up saint was injured ,he got a gun wound on his arm ,gulf couldn't sit still anymore and got up to fight.

I ordered James to take the suppasit family out of the venue,the attack was much bigger then we had thought .it was bloody everywhere .

Fuck it , i got shot on my leg ,when looking at mew,stupid me ,why would i look at him while fighting ,i focused on my work again ,these fuckers are really important to take care of right now .

Once the suppasit's were out ,we had nothing to fear ,after a bloody fight of about 4 hours we were able to take down everyone the fight ended we had also lost a number of our men as well.

Great i was shot on leg and my arm was injured as well.after handling the cleaning up ,i went straight to home and called in my personal doctor team .

The doctor said that the bullet did not go much deeper ,so i only need a few days rest.

After 3 days:-

Gulf is in the living room , reading newspaper.when he saw saint walking towards him ,he was dressed up that means he has to go somewhere.

Zhi ,why are you here ,you should be in your room taking rest ,saint said in an angry+worried tone .

Easy saintie ,easy ,i got  bored sitting
In my room so i came down ,by the way ,where are you going?gulf said pouting a bit .

I am going to suppasit mansion ,we have to talk about something's,do you want to come with me .

Nah,what can I do there , i am not good with conversations ,you know that right.gulf said leaning back in his seat .

Saint was thinking something for a bit and then said ,

Don't tell me you don't want to go there because of mew ,are you afraid of facing him.saint asked while smirking evilly .

Come on, saint you know ,i am not afraid of anything in this world ,gulf said arrogently

Oh yeah ,that's why you don't want to go to suppasit mansion right saint said teasingly.

Okay ,you want me to go there ,fear enough let's go.gulf said getting up.

At the suppasit mansion:-

Saint and gulf arrived at their destination ,they were now in their usual serious mode,they went inside and saw mew's father was sitting on the couch waiting for them ,gulf was looking around when he saw mew's cousin was looking at him with weird eyes,gulf ignored them and arrogently walked towards the couch .

When mew's father saw gulf ,he wanted to say something but stopped .gulf was sitting there while saint was discussing something with mr.suppasit.gulf didn't bother with what they were saying when he saw a figure coming down from stairs.

It was mew ,he didn't mind his surroundings and went straight to kitchen ,he looks so tired ,so pale ,like he hadn't slept peacefully,his eyebags are deep and dark,looks like he has been crying.gulf was looking at him ,when mew felt someone was starting at him ,he looked at the couch and saw gulf was sitting there.

As soon as gulf saw mew was looking at him he averted his gaze and was now looking at mr. Suppasit but mew stared at him for a while and after making sure he was sure it was gulf ,he ran towards the couch and held gulf in a bone crushing hug.

Baby,you are finally here ,i missed you so much ,i couldn't even sleep .mew said still hugging gulf tears glistening from his eyes.

Mew thought that gulf was now going to console him but what gulf did was the opposite of what mew thought.

Gulf pushed mew away from himself,

I think we need to talk mr. Mew suppasit.gulf said looking at mew in his eyes.

Baby ,why are you calling me that ,why are you not calling me hubby like always.mew said sobbing wanting to hug gulf again but gulf stepped away.

Mr. Mew ,listen to me ,i don't love you,and i never did ,i did that all because i wanted to stay near you,you were getting hard to control so i thought this was the best solution , i don't love you ,i did all that because of my duty to keep you safe .gulf said ,he didn't even  had a little bit of guilt in his voice while saying all these heartless things to mew ,the person who loved him so much.
