 * BEFORE YOU READ, THIS KINDA HAS A BIT OF PAINISH STUFF AND GORE *

A trickle of blood ran down her mother's face, as someone tried to hurt her with a silver knife. The man yelled in fear and pain as a sharp kitchen knife was shoved into his back. The stillness of air didn't help the little girl as she stood there in shock, watching her mother do what she did best, killing.

4 years later..

"Where is SHE?" Hissed the voice from the front door, the 2 little kids spun around to face his face, who were very startled from his sudden appearance. The little girl who had been named Zara, stood there frozen, while her older brother was looking up at her father's grumpy face.

"Yes, father?" answered the little boy whose name was Zack, Zara's older brother.

"Zara" Their father hissed in his snake-like voice as he stared into her pure soul.

"Y-yes father?" Zara replied whilst shaking with fear. Whenever their dad talked like this, it meant he was very angry, which was most of the time.

"Your mother will be coming home soon. And I want you, and ONLY you to prepare your mother and I's weapons and put them in the suitcase NEATLY". He said as he walked around the children. Zara gulped as she watched her father sneak off behind the corridor. In her life, her Mother was Assassin and their father was a Murderer. If you asked Zara and Zack why this was back then , they would have no idea why.

As she looked back at her brother Zack who looked worried for some reason who was looking down to where their father had been standing not long ago. Zack was like the perfect one. Never failing to organise or fail to throw a knife at a stuffed doll . She sighed as she poked her brother's shoulder and he quickly turned his head.

"You scared me Zara" He grumbled as he turned his head to his hands.

"You okay Zack?" She worryingly looked at him. She waited for a response, yet she got none. Zara just watched her brother look down again where his father was standing before.

She didn't have time to wait for a response. She cared for her brother, but if she wanted her parent's approval, she would need to do everything they asked for.

Zara walked over to the storage room, where the gear was. Obviously, not all the best gear was in there. Only the general ones they used on most missions, like knives and some not too complicated guns. She opened the suitcase and carefully placed each weapon into the slots in the suitcase. She never really questioned why exactly her parents had their jobs.

Their childhood was all muddled up. They never went to school but their parents hired a tutor, (With the money they earned from various missions) and since they didn't want them to reveal anything, they were killed. They all knew well not to trust people outside the family, that's how they had all been raised. Including Zara and Zack's parents. Raised for one reason. To kill.

If they felt sympathy for an animal they killed, then they would've been punished. While their father was strict, their mother was a bit better.

Since she was an assassin, she only killed targets she was assigned too, she didn't kill them any more peacefully than their father did though. Harsh and precise. She was kind to Zara and Zack, put also had similar requests to what their father asked them. The last thing they wanted was a runaway child to go and either ; get held hostage , reveal information about the family , go against them , and waste their time raising them although the last one was only the father's concern.

Tap tap tap. The door clicked open and a figure entered the grey house. Zack snuck behind the nearest wall and watched as his mother's figure came further in the dull hallway as her heels clacked against the floor  and started talking about something serious to their father.

Zack could tell by the way they were talking, although whenever they talked it was usually in a serious-non joking tone . They then turned and walked towards the corner Zack was hiding, his heart began to race as he started fiddlinging with his fingers.

As they walked closer, and were now in front of him staring down at him he stared back at them, their eyes all serious as they looked at each other and his mother kneeled down, then the father followed which was quite surprising for Zack, and he could even tell he was kind of embarrassed but shrugged it off.

"Hello my Son. Zack." She said as she looked around

"Um- " Zack then looked at his Father, for some sort of help but he was looking away.

"Hello, Mum!" Zack yelped suddenly and his father gave him a glare. But the mother's face wasn't angry or annoyed, she was smiling. Well, sort of. But this was a very rare occasion either way.

"Well what I wanted to tell you is... Your father is going to take your Sister Zara to training.. But the place is very far." She then sighed and took a breath.

"So your father is going to stay with her..But I have a Job to do. And me and your father agreed since you had trained and never gone on a mission before.." His heart felt like it was about to stop, as he pleaded in his head she wasn't going to say what he thought she was going to say.

"So, you're going to come with me to do my mission". She said in one quick breath as Zack's father gave her a reassuring smile, which was also very surprising.

Zack felt like the world had froze completely. This can't be real, right? Going on a assassination mission with my mother, far away from home? Without my sister..? Zack thought to himself. But he knew he didn't have a choice so he hopelessly agreed.
