WHEN THE SUN LOST ITS SHINE

CHAPTER 1

"10 minutes before we start, everything's ready?", the stage director asks one more time as we are now down to our last concert here in Los Angeles.

"Hey, you okay?" 

As I lift my head, my eyes meet my member's eyes.

"I'm good Jin hyung, how about the rest?" I asks while looking for the others.

" They are almost done, still nervous?" he asks me and gives me an annoying smile.

"Are you kidding me? I am with you guys, there's nothing to worry about. And we're doing this for almost a decade now." I said.

" Woah. Jhope... You've changed so much since the day I met you" and he laughed.

I faked a laugh and think about what he just say.

Did  I really changed  so much?

I was deep thinking when Namjoon called us together.

"Guys, this our last concert here in L.A and I want all of you to do your best tonight, not for yourself but for all of ours fans that's waiting in the arena, is that clear?"

We nod in unison to give him our answer.

The director give us one last call and its time to meet our beloved fans.

The night is so memorable and it has been the best time we ever had with our fans.

Seeing their smiles warms my heart and the way they sang together with us makes me feel thankful and loved.

I danced my hearts out and give my all for every performance I could ever do.

As I go my way down to meet some of them in a much nearer distance my eyes was caught by one of the placards and it says " BTS, please help me popped out the question to my girlfriend"

I lift up my microphone and say

" Where's your girlfriend?" 

When he points where his girl was, I feel every sweat in my body freezes.

When I meet her gaze, something inside makes me feel weak and broken.

It was her.

The one whom I planned my future with.

When our eyes met, I can see that she still the same woman that I've fallen in love with. Her eyes, smile and face never changes.

Maybe Jin was right when he says that I've changed so much.

And that change, leads me to help another man to spent the rest of his life with the same woman I want to spend the rest of mine with.

It's breaking me slowly,

But I have to smile.

" To the beautiful lady he's pertaining to, would you want to spend the rest of your life with the man right there?" 

And I just know that I lost myself when she says the most painful "yes" I've ever heard in my life.

I smile and go back to the stage with my members cheering for the newly engaged couple in the crowd.

" Hyung, that was so cool" Jungkook says cheerfully while hugging me.

I smiled at him and clapped my hands.

" Army, it has been a great night with you guys, but I'm afraid that we are now down to our last song" Namjoon says.

We sang our last song and bids our goodbye.

When we reach the backstage, I sat down and face the mirror.

"Do you want me to take your make up now?" our make up artist asks.

" I'll do that later, can I have some time alone and locked the door?" she nodded and leave.

Now that I am alone, I am free to express anything.

I swipe off every single thing that I see in my vanity table and lay myself down on the floor.

I can hear knocks on my door but I refuse to entertain them.

I just let myself drowned in my own tears and feel all the pain that I caused myself into.

" Hobi Hyung, open the door! What's happening?!" I heard Jimin outside the room.

" Jhope, please open the door! What's wrong with you?" that's Yoongi.

How will they understand what I'm feeling right now?

As i open my phone, I can see Jin calling me but I choose to ignore him.

I go to my gallery and go to my hidden file,

where I store my memories with her, with my Aelina.

If there's one thing in my life that I want now, it will be a chance to change my fate.

A chance to go back and change everything.

To take her back in my arms and never let her hands off of me.

I just want a chance in a lifetime, because I know that I can't breath another day knowing my shining light is good as gone.
