Chapter 10

Y/n's POV

When I woke up I was in the hospital, I looked at my arm and there was an IV in my arm

"Y/n!!" Lapis said as she got up from her seat and ran up to me pulling me into a hug

I hugged her back "What happened?" I said as I put a hand on my head

"Well when Aquamarine took you apparently Topaz knocked you out when you guys were about to take off, but Steven turned himself in and Aquamarine let everyone go" Lapis said as she furrowed her eyebrows

"My head is killing me" I said

Mrs. Maheswaran walked in "You're finally awake" she said with a smile

"What do you mean by finally?" I asked confused

"You were out for two days, let me just run some tests and you can leave" Mrs. Maheswaran said

My parents ran into the room "Y/n!" My mom said but she paused as her and my dad looked at Lapis

"How many times have I said to stop coming to see her" My mom said looking at Lapis in anger

"Mom what's wrong" I said confused

"Y/n hun, I don't want you being around the crystal gems, or anyone like them" She said walking closer to me

I looked over at Lapis, she was looking down at the floor I could tell she was angry and sad

"Can we talk about this later"I said looking at everyone

"Okay, everyone out I have to run some tests" Mrs. Maheswaran said

Everyone walked out "It's gonna be okay, when Connie first started hanging around Steven and the gems I didn't want her around them either, they'll get over it soon" She said

"I hope so" I sighed

Once it was confrimed I could go home my parents drove me home, once we got there I went to my room and laid down on my bed thinking

My mom walked into the room and sat down on my bed

"Come downstairs me and your father want to talk to you" she said as she got up and left

I groaned and went downstairs and sat down in the kitchen with them

"So Y/n like me and your mother said we don't want you to hang out the crystal gems anymore" my dad spoke looking at me

"What why they've don't nothing wrong" I said looking at them in anger

"They're the reason you got taken in the first place" My mom said

"First of all it wasn't their fault I got taken, if it wasn't for Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst, and Steven I would probably be somewhere in space, Steven turned himself in so me and the others could go, and what does Lapis even have to do with this" I looked at them both

"Y/n she's just like them, so you're gonna listen to us and stay away from them" my dad said getting up and getting water

"This is so dumb" I said getting up and putting my shoes on

My dad followed me "Y/n where are you going, we didn't give you permission to leave" he said

"I'm going to none of your business, and I don't care if I have your permission or not" I said tying my shoe and leaving

"Y/n! We weren't done talking!" My mom yelled out

I flipped them both off as I walked away
