Luna

As she returns from the Raven, she pulls into the driveway and puts her vehicle in park. After sitting there for a few seconds, she looks at the house and sees Kyle turning on the bathroom light. She gets out of the vehicle, walks into the house, throws her keys onto the counter, and takes her shoes off. With her walking past the living room, and to the bottom of the stairs, she eyes the crystal ball and sees that it's been undisturbed.

"Hello!" Luna yells as she stands at the bottom of the stairs.

"Hey!" Kyle says, as he appears at the top of the steps. Standing there, looking at her for a few seconds, he asks, "Where did you go?"

"Laura called. I went to the Raven," she says, as she walks up the stairs, while he walks down them. As she goes into the bedroom, she changes her clothes, and yells, "She did a quick reading. Why?"

"She did! How was it?" he yells, as he walks into the living room and turns on the television.

"It went well. I was right! She told me I should write about my dreams. She even said that I should wear purple," she says, as she walks down the stairs, into the living room and looks at him.

"Are you going to?" he asks, changing the channel. He looks at the coffee table, sees the crystal ball, and asks, "What's with the crystal ball?"

"The witches gave it to me. It's going to help me read the energy around me. And yes, I'm going to write and wear purple. What could it hurt?" she says, walking out of the living room, and into the kitchen.

As she opens the fridge and grabs a drink, she walks over to the kitchen counter and stares out the kitchen window. Becoming deep in thought and thinking about everything Laura told her, she opens the kitchen window a crack and breathes in the fresh air.

"Luna. What are you doing? Why don't you come here and watch a movie with me?" Kyle yells as he looks out into the kitchen.

"Alright. I'll be there in a minute," she says, closing the window, walking into the living room, and sitting next to him. Within seconds, he grabs his cell phone off the coffee table, puts it on vibrate, and sets it back down. He looks at her, and she asks, "Why did you put your phone on vibrate?"

"Because! I don't want to be disturbed. I want to watch this movie," he says with a smile, as he scoots next to her, and puts his arm around her shoulder.

As they sit there, he leans on her and watches a movie, and he grabs the blanket from the top of the couch and places it over them. Within seconds, he slowly climbs on top of her, and caresses her hair, while grabbing the remote off the coffee table. Shutting off the television, he puts the remote back on the coffee table, and he looks into her eyes without saying anything.

"Now? Do you want to do this now?" she asks, looking at him.

"Why not?" he asks as he takes his shirt off and begins to kiss her neck. As he slowly pushes her hair out of her face, he asks, "What? Don't you want to?"

"What kind of question is that?" she asks with a whisper as she takes her shirt off. As his body cradles her body, she says, "I'm hot. Take the blanket off."

As he pulls the blanket off them, he pushes himself up against her, and his cell phone vibrates, and he stops what he's doing. With him looking at his cell phone, he grabs it and gets off her.

"What are you doing?" Luna asks as he looks at his screen.

"I'm checking my phone," he says, reading the text.

"Who is it? Who is so friggin important that you stopped giving me attention," she says as she sits up.

"It was Tim. He wants to know if I'm coming over," he says as he stands up, and puts on his shirt. As he tucks it in, he looks at her, and says, "I'll be back shortly! You're not mad, are you?"

"Why are you going over there? You were just there. You're leaving me like this. No big deal. Let's put Tim first. Besides what's so important that you need to go to Tim's right now," she says as she puts on her shirt.

"He has paperwork for the Salem Wharf fishing finals. It needs to be filled out before the deadline, or we can't fish. And the deadline is tonight, Luna. I have no choice, but to go over if I want to fish this tournament," Kyle says as he kisses her on the lips, and puts his socks and sneakers on.

As he walks to the door, Luna says, "Fine! I get it! I'll see you in a little bit. I'm just going to lie down and take a nap."

"Okay! I'll see you in a bit," he yells as he walks out of the house.

As he drives down the road, she lies on the couch, closes her eyes, and rolls over to her side. Listening to the television, she falls into a deep sleep, and dreams.
