Vincent stared at her, shocked.  This angel woman wanted her number?  She must be dreaming.

"So? Your number, sweetheart?" your mom's saccharine voice snapped her from her thoughts.

Vincent nodded vigorously a she reached into her pocket to grab a notepad and enthusiastically write her number down.  "Here you are ma'am, anything else I can get for you?" Vincent inquired as she ripped the page out of her note pad and handed it over to your mom.  Her face was blood red and she knew it.  Even if she couldn't see it, she could sure as hell feel it.  Your mom shook her head no.

Vincent quickly shuffled away, flustered and dazed.  What a fine woman she was that had just asked for her phone number.  Her mind began to flood with images of your mom (all pg13 at most, of course, she would never objectify your mother like that) as she made her way back to the kitchen of the restaurant.

After Vincent's long day at work, she made her way home, where her roommate, Spencer Charnas, awaited her return.  The two had met 2 years ago on a train as it was about to run off a cliff.  They had been next to each other and had been holding each other tightly as they both screamed about not wanting to die alone.  In the end, the were saved by Scooby Doo and the gang, of course, and got to ride in the mystery machine.  But nothing like a traumatic event to bring people together.  Vincent and Spencer Charnas had been very close ever since.

"I'm home!" Vincent called as she stepped into the door and shed her coat, leaving it on the hooks in the foyer.

Spencer Charnas' voice rang in from the kitchen, "Hey, I'm making mac n' cheese. Want some?" he offered.

Vincent debated for a moment, but why wouldn't she want some mac n' cheese right after work?  "Hell yeah!" she called through the house, to which she got an 'ok' in response.  She made her way to the kitchen to sit herself on the counter, preparing to tell her roommate about her eventful day.  Of course there was the usual pain-in-the-ass customer's she always made him suffer through hearing her complain about, or the one older guy that came in every now and then and always tipped big.

But today she rushed through all that, for it was not important.  Today she had met your mom, from whom she was awaiting a call or text.  "Trust me gang, you wanna hear this shit," she assured her roommate.  He just rolled his eyes and handed her a bowl of mac n' cheese which he had made before walking towards the living room.  Vincent followed close behind, coming to sit on the couch right across from him.

"So, it was a boring day, whatever.  But then, this gorgeous gorgeous woman walked in, and we get pretty customers all the time, but this woman was FINE," Vincent began explaining, to which her roommate sighed slightly, to which she ignored.  "The next great part, I got to serve her.  And it was like serving any other customer, until I came with her food, and right before I walked away, she stopped me and asked me for my number!" Vincent exclaimed excitedly.

Spencer Charnas made a confused face, "So she asked for your number," he echoed her, "Did you give it?" he asked with feigned concern.

Vincent made an exasperated noise, "Well, of course I did! I'm not that stupid," she assured.  Spencer Charnas made an 'mhm' noise as he clicked from show to show on the television, trying to find something to distract him from Vincent's over-excited rambling.

Vincent let out a wild, high-pitched squeal as she shoved her phone in her roommates face.  "Look," she demanded, but how could he not, her phone screen was taking up most of his vision.  On the screen were the words 'Hi, it's (your mom's name) from the restaurant earlier.  Vincent squealed again.  "What do I say?" she wondered aloud.
