A/N: first time writing this so it may be ooc. I'm not completely good at writing so if you have any criticism let me know and I'll take it!! Also, I'm writing in first person.
Y/N POV:
I was walking to my class when I saw shirabu, my best friend since junior high. I wave to him and then walk into my classroom. As soon as I walk in a certain group of people start to whisper and I just silently walk to my seat. I hear some of what they say, "have you seen her outfit today?" "All she ever does is read those books... does she even pay attention in class" "she probably does. she is such a nerd" I put my head on the desk and silently cry listening to that. When the teacher walks in, they immediately shut up.
~time skip to after class~
It's now time for lunch but I don't have an appetite to eat. I go to the lunchroom and sit with the boys' volleyball team. Shirabu gives me a look when I sit down without a lunch although semi beat him to giving me food. "Here you need to eat something." semi gives me an onigiri and I hesitantly take a bite. I finish it and give semi a smile. "Thanks semi semi!" we all finished lunch and I was walking back to my class when I feel someone grab my arm. It was semi. "I have something I have to tell you. Can you meet me after clubs by the gate today?" semi said while looking down. I get nervous but still say, "Yea I can!"
~time skip to after clubs~
My club got out early so I've been waiting for 5 minutes and then I start to see the volleyball boys come out. I haven't seen semi come out yet though. Shirabu came up to me and said, "you wanna go home together today?" "I can't today I'm waiting for semi, he said that he needed to tell me something after clubs. Sorry shirabu." I sighed. He grumbled something while walking away. a few seconds later semi walks up to me. "Sorry, the coach had to talk to me." I yawn and look up. "Hey semi semi, you ready to talk?" "Yea... so there is this girl she's got these perfect e/c eyes. and amazing h/c hair. Oh, and her personality is just so... I can't even find a word to describe her negatively. how do I tell her that she is this amazing person for me."
Me thinking it was my twin sister, I say, "you should ask her out with flowers and a box of chocolate and take her to the beach and have a picnic while watching the sunset." we continue to walk and talk until we get to my house. "Bye semi semi see you tomorrow!" i wave as i walk into my house. i do my nightly routine then go to bed.
~next day~
while I was walking to school i met up with shirabu and we talked about random stuff until we got to school as we were saying by semi walks up. "Hey l/n i was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime?" he says as he pulls his hand out from behind his back with roses and a box of chocolates. shirabu scoffs, give a glare to semi, then walks off all without me noticing. "oh um semi... I'm sorry but I can't lead you on. i like someone else but i love you like a brother. im so sorry." "it's ok, l/n I get it. but you should go get shirabu before he thinks the wrong thing." at that moment I realize that shirabu left without letting me know. i look around worriedly and ask semi which way shirabu went. semi pointed in the direction and i started running. the bells ring in 7 minutes and I have yet to find him. Just as I start to turn back i see him. he is sitting under a cherry blossom tree.
"Shirabu!!" I yell trying to get his attention. he looks towards me then wipes his eyes frantically. as I make it over to him, he asks if i said yes. "Why would I say yes? I told you that he is like my brother before, right?" I ask him. he shakes his head no and I come closer. was he crying? "Shira... are you ok? you were just crying, weren't you?" "n-no I wasn't" "why were you crying?" "b-because I thought I would lose you... I thought semi would take you away from me... i-i love you n/n..." "You love me? like in a friendly way or like romantically" "romantically..." "Shira... I love you too. before you ask, yes romantically. I would never choose anyone over than you. never!"
