Anything that was not written under the label of an Author's Note is Not me as the author talking. These are some random fourth-wall-breaking entities, they do not have names as of yet, I just thought it would be neat to have them here. I want to clear this up so that if there is a throw a way line from them about like "Oh I'm gonna do this to this character." it's not necessarily foreshadowing. Yes, some of what they say will have an effect on the story, not all of it will. I just thought I should clarify this better before this chapter starts. Jedediah's POV
I was sitting in my house, trying to figure out what that guy meant. The other night, some random guy told me that there was a "pretty little lady who likes you" although he didn't tell me who she was. I set my hat down on a near by side table, and sat down on my favorite chair. I got to thinking who that could be, but no one came to mind. I also had a friend of mine over, Victor, over to just chat. Eventually the subject of the Romans got brought up, and he asked me what Ocky was like.
Well, he's pretty similar to me, come to think of it." Victor looked at me, he was a bit confused about what I meant. "How so?" I replied with, "Well, we both want what's best for our town's people, we're both kinda headstrong, things like that." He nodded and said, "I see."
He paused for a bit, but then asked "Well, how do you feel about him?" That question was harder to answer than it should have been, like he's probably the person who understands me the best, and he's a great friend, but there was more to him. I explained this a bit to him,
"... and every time I got to thinking about him, I kept getting this feeling. I don't know how to describe it, but it's like a feeling you know?"
"You like him, don't you Jed?" He asked, I gave him a bit of a confused look, before saying, "Well yeah, he's a great friend!" Victor sighed a bit before saying "No, I mean-" There was a knock at the door.
I got up to go see who it was, upon opening the door, there was a girl there,
"Hi! I'm Winifred, but you can call me Winnie!" Her outfit was pink with some black and white accents. I couldn't see most of her hair, since it was underneath a hat she wore, but from what I could see, it was a light shade of brown. She seemed very happy.

"Um... Hi? What brings your 'round here?" I'm not sure I've seen her around, but then again, I don't think we tend to visit the same places. "Well, I've seen you around, and I just thought you were so handsome~" She paused for a second and looked at me in a longing way. "And I just had to meet you for myself! So I asked around to find where you live!" I'm sorry, she what? That's not weird at all...
"Well, uh, thanks for coming over-" She cut me off, "Maybe we could go get dinner some time?" I didn't want to be rude, she hadn't given me much reason to be, but there weren't many places we could go, and I really wanted to get back to my conversation with Victor. "There aren't any places we could go, but thank you for the offer. Have a nice night." She gave me an over exaggerated pouty face, but then left.
"So, what were you saying Victor?"

Hello dear reader! I hope that that was satisfactory, however, I feel as though leaving this chapter on a cliff hanger shall be most interesting!
I like to believe that no story can exist without notable conflict, and I am excited to see what Little Winifred will add to this story.

I personally do not see the problem. I simply wrote what I felt fit, is that not the point of writing, to tell a story you enjoy?

Jedediah and Octavius will get a happy ending. Don't you worry. I just felt that our story needed another conflict so that it does not end too soon. I am not writing a tragedy, at least not this time.
