Dawn of The Fallen

The songs of the birds fill the morning sky, a new day has begun. The jingles of bells echo through the forest, the wings of a small creature flaps as it flies around and greets the awakened animals. The animals look up and greet it in return, once in a while giving it a gift or two. The creature hides from a noise and watches beyond the trees, it sees giants walking the grounds of the forest, it follows them to a beautiful flower. The giants were speaking about something, but the creature could not hear much of it, as it waited for them to leave, she saw one of them look towards its direction and the creature ducks away. After waiting a while, the giants left and the creature was able to check the flower that they were talking about, as it flew closer to it, an unsettling feeling washes over it, it begins to feel like a whole bucket of water had been dumped over it.

For hiding all its life, it musters up the courage to follow the giants back to their home. To make sure it does not get seen, it requests the help of one of the small birds to follow the giants as quietly as a mouse. Eventually, they reach a cave opening, they cautiously go through it to a civilization of giants, they have found an underground kingdom. The small winged creature quickly spots the two giants that it saw in the forest and follows them, leading them to a massive building with a colossal door. The bird landed on a nearby flag pole and heard the conversation.

"Your suspicions were correct My Lord," One of them answers. "The flowers had been purified by the clans."

A figure sits on a chair that is lifted by a staircase, "Who purified the flowers exactly?"

"That...we have yet to find out, My Lord." The other one replied.

A loud boom comes from the figure on the chair. "Then what good are you to me if you can't even find the culprit?!" the figure explodes. He raised his hands and a woman appeared, she had long black hair with white highlights, she bows in front of the figure. "Find who purified the flowers and bring them to me, make sure they are alive."

"Understood." The woman disappears.

Not wanting to hear anymore, the creature flies away and out of the underground. "I must find Tia's Champion!" Once out of the underground kingdom, she flies on her own and thanks the bird and gives it food as a reward. Her wings work overtime, zooming past the trees, leaves and creatures that lived quietly in the forest. She stops as soon as she gets to the end of the forest, realizing that she had no idea where the champion is, she rethinks her decision of going into the world of the giants and risking her safety.

She began to think of a way to safely find the Champion without running into the other giants. After a while of thinking, she decides to use one of her spells, a long golden vine appears from her hands and leads her past the forest. The vine swims past the sea of giants and reaches Naelen's house, where inside, Aereth and Xilsatra were hanging out while Naelen is making them some food. The vine hugs her wrist and the winged creature pulls it, causing Xilsatra's hand and herself to be pulled as well.

"What are you doing?" Aereth questions.

"I'm not doing anything–Woah!" Xilsatra is pulled towards the window and she stops herself. "Someone is pulling me towards them with this vine!"

"Vine? What vine?" Aereth looks around in search of the vine she was talking about but didn't find it. "Haha, very funny, you almost got me there Xilsatra."

"I'm not joking–Ugh!" She gets slammed on the wall and Aereth immediately stands up and pulls her away from the wall.

Naelen comes from the kitchen upon hearing of the commotion, he finds Xilsatra being pinned on the wall and Aereth pulling her off of it. "What in the world is going on here?!"

"Stop questioning Naelen!" Aereth grunts. "Help me pull her away!"

Without saying anything else, he helps him pull her. On the other side of the vine, the creature is pulling with all her might against the three, for a while it was a game of tug o' war.
