"So where's your little pet Aiden?" Brianna snuck up on Aiden as he was fixing himself a drink. Turning around with an eyebrow raised, "seriously Bri?" Bursting into laughter she threw her arms around his neck, "I'm just kidding lighten up babe, so where is she anyhow? She let you come out all alone for once?" He chuckled, "Let me? I'm pretty sure i'm the one who wants her around all the time Brianna" She quickly snatched her arms away from him, "Aiden, why did we ever break up? We were great together and i'm pretty sure that thing you call your girlfriend isn't making you happy the way that I did."

He stared at her for a few moments before giving her a response. Thinking of the nicest way possible to answer her question without sounding like a total asshole. He started to think...why exactly did they break up? That was so damn long ago, did he even know anymore? Maybe there was a reason he couldn't remember? But the longer he stood there, staring and pondering it all came back to him.

That night after the homecoming game, their sophomore year.

Aiden grabbed his football gear out of the locker room and texted his girlfriend Brianna that he'd meet her at his car in 10 minutes. Walking out of the locker room through the gym he heard noises, sexual noises, the voice of a female moaning his teammates name. He laughed, thinking about the many groupies who threw themselves at him and his guys after every single game. "I wonder who it is this time" he said to himself as he peeked behind a set of bleachers. "Brianna" he whispered only loud enough for him to hear. He wanted to drop everything and run over and kill this guy on top of his girlfriend, the girl he wanted to marry. But he stopped himself and hurried out of the gym and to his car to wait for her to come.He could feel tears forming in his eyes but he stopped himself thinking about how stupid he would be to cry over a girl like that. She got to the car about 5 minutes after him super jolly and trying to kiss him but he dodged it. "something wrong baby?"Anger lingering in his eyes, he looked up at her and said "Look, I think that we should just be friends" with a confused look in her eyes, "wha..why? did i do something wrong? Whatever it is Aiden I-I-Im sorry" He shook his head and looked away, "You didn't do anything wrong,I just feel like I need to focus on my sports and studies, I wont be able to give you the time you need anymore, you deserve someone who would be able to..okay?" She sat there looking confused...confused as if she hadn't just been moaning another guys name moments ago. With watery eyes she grabbed her purse and ran out of the car.

"Aiden!?"

Jumping from his thoughts, "Yeah?" "Did you hear what I asked? Are you listening to anything I've been saying?" she questioned before grabbing herself a drink. "Yeahh...I don't remember why...we were young Brianna" She smiled and nodded. "come sit with me?" she asked him pointing to a couch nearby. He nodded, "sure". They talked for a little while about any and everything that came to mind. Laughing and flirting while super buzzed from the liquor...him more so than her. She knew this and definitely took advantage of it. Rubbing her hand across his leg as often as she could without him noticing.

"Aiden!?" Aliyah appeared out of no where demanding Aiden's attention.

He jumped up "Hey baby" trying to kiss her she pushed his face away not taking her eyes off of Brianna. "what the hell are you doing?" Aliyah asked Brianna while balling her fists up. "Uhm having a friendly conversation with my Friend relax girl." Swinging her hair around and facing Aiden she gave him an evil look, "Really Aiden...drunk again too huh?" He let out a drunken laugh, "Baby it's all good" Aliyah nodded her head and gave a sarcastic laugh, "Right.I'm taking you home lets go." "Really? he's a big boy he can decide if he wants to leave sweetie" Brianna chimed in with a smirk on her face. Aliyah quickly threw a hand up to shush her and grabbed Aiden's hand and took him to her car. "Aiden what the hell were you thinking!? How the hell were you even gonna get home?" He stared out of the window and remained speechless.

Once they got back to the condo Aiden crashed on the couch and Aliyah had no interest in forcing him to bed so she left him alone. She took her shower and got into bed going through her news feed when she received an email from a friend about a potential styling job. Everyone she hung out with knew that she'd do anything for a chance to showcase her love for fashion so this was icing onto the art institute cake Aiden had given her earlier. Once she called her friend she let her know that it was an assistant styling job to help style a few dancers for Nicki Minaj's tour. At first Aliyah was disappointed about it being so little of a job but she was eventually convinced that you have to start from the bottom up. Lit with joy and hoping to meet a real life celebrity for the first time in her life, Aliyah finally managed to fall asleep pondering what tomorrow would have in store for her.
