There are 5 basic types of teams you will encounter 1 hyper offence, 2 wall teams, 3 set up/sweeping teams, 4 hax teams, 5 mixed teams.
Hyper offence
Hyper offence team likes to blitz through the opposing teams pokemon with sheer power. Favorates items of these teams include choice items and life orbs. The pokemon included are glass canons examples include greninja, infernape, and talonflame. Please note there are many more than what I listed. Counters to hyper offence teams are priority moves such as extreme speed, sucker punch, and fake out. Other checks are mega walls, other hyper offence, and set up teams. The most common counter is a decent strategy around the threats.Hax teams
Hax teams are most likely to ruin friendships for the strategy is to tick your opponent off until you win or they concede the game. This include paralysing, confusing, flinching, attracting, evasiveness raising, accuracy lowering, defence and special defence raising, and hp recovery. Favorite examples are para flinching, para fusion, para flinch fusion, and evasiveness. Hax teams also try to disrupt there opponents with moves like trick to give an unwanted item. Serene grace pokemon are the top choice for hax teams. Checks for hax teams are luck and pokemon that are immune to said hax.
I will be posting the other teams in the next chapter so don't worry.
