As I try to fight
Through the tears and pain
Through the wind and rain

Praying that someday I can get love right
Was there ever a future or a day
Where I didn't have to hear you say... goodbye
When I wake up home
I'm still in bed alone
I try and get up fast
Running from the past
I pray each night
For more daylight
So I don't have to dream
About when you had to leave
Oh the music hurts
It just makes things worse
It breaks my heart when I hear songs say
I would've gave anything, to see you some day
This has how it's got to be
For my heart to free
Free from your cold touch
The one that I miss so much
Now I can't go back
To the life I had
It's not same here
Not able to call you dear
You're in my cold and broken heart tonight
Wishing I could be alright
Wishing I could just leave things in the past
Restarting my life's hourglass
I'm tired of killing my love I still have for you
Making me think my love wasn't true
Maybe some distant day
I could maybe fly away
And see you one last time...
