The twin that lives.....

Part fourteen: pumpkin..

For the rest of the day your family had just stayed by your side and then all ended up falling asleep waiting for you to wake up.

It had now become morning and the only one who was awake was Neytiri holding your hand. "Please wake up Täla'ite please I didn't mean anything I said to you I need you I can't lose you my sweet baby" she says crying.

"Mom?" I say while slowly opening my eyes "sweetheart" she says hugging me while she starts crying.

"Mom don't cry...please just stop" I say
"Why you almost died....of course I'm going to cry" she say pulling out of the hug.

Then all of a sudden I feel a lot of arms wrap around me and that's when I realize it's all my siblings. It brought me happiness till
Ao'nung walk in because of what happened between me and my mother.

"Täla'ite" he says pulling me into a hug I wanted to hug him back so bad but I didn't.

"What's wrong sissy" kiri asks "nothing..I just wanna be alone okay" I say mad so they all could leave "but you had just gotten back" my twin brother says.

"Please just leave me alone okay I just wanna be alone" I say "okay everyone out let's respect her choice" Jake says walking everyone out.

"Alright what's wrong pumpkin" Jake says laying down beside you while holding you like you were a baby again.

"I'm just so tired..dad and I feel like I'm disappointing you and the family" I say while tearing up. "Why do you think that" he asks "because I wasn't there for my sisters and brothers like you and mom wanted" I say crying.

"You try your best that's all that matters" he says hugging me while rubbing my shoulder "mom doesn't think that though maybe if I try harder next time I will prove her wrong" I say sitting up "hey slowly you just got patched up" he says while helping me up.

"Why do you think your mom doesn't think it" he asks "doesn't matter it's fine..I'll tell you some other time" I say while walking out.

"Hey where you going?" He asks "I just wanna sit on the beach like old times" I say smiling before walking away I hug my father.

"Be careful" he yells "I will" I yell back.

Few minutes later while I was sitting there thinking to myself I heard footsteps coming towards me.

"Hey sissy" the person who was walking to me said "hey baby brother" I say seeing that it was neteyam "why didn't you hug Ao'nung back" he asks.

"It's just..remember the talk mom had with me the night I left?" I asks "yeah what about it" he says while having one of his arms around my shoulder. "We'll mom basically said I shouldn't get close with Ao'nung because she doesn't want me to ruin my life" i say while tearing up "are you going to listen to her?" He asks "well I have no choice but to listen to her" I say wiping my tears.

"Well what are you going to tell Ao'nung?" He asks "nothing I'm just going to keep my distance" I say while getting up.

"Täla'ite!" Is all you hear from up the beach. When you looked you say your three other siblings running with tisraya, Ao'nung and Rotxo.

"Looks like you can't keep your distance right now" neteyam says "shut up" you say while you both laugh while walking towards them.

"Hey guys" you say smiling while the three girls hug you."okay let me hug my sister now" lo'ak says pulling you into a big hug "I missed you sissy" he says "I missed you to" you say while your voice breaks.

"hey Täla'ite...how are you" ao'nung asks.

"im fine" you say.

"anyway its getting late we should head home" you say to your siblings "but we just got here" lo'ak says "doesnt matter....we gotta get back" you say making it obvious you dont want to be there.

"goodnight guys" you say while pulling your siblings away.

{Täla'ite pov}

few minutes later me and my siblings get home and all just start getting ready for bed.

"hey kids what you up to?" jake asks "we are heading to bed now cause its getting late Täla'ite said" lo'ak says.

"thats good cause shes right so go on and head to bed..goodnight kids" our dad says "goodnight dad" all five of us kids yell while walking to all us guys little cornor rooms in our house.

"Hey sissy?" Kiri asked making me turn over and look at her "yeah" I say quietly "why couldn't you just talk to us instead of leaving?" She asked while getting up and crawling into my bed "I'm sorry I just didn't want to be here anymore...I just really miss home" I tell her and she cuddles up into my side and we both just lay there and peacefully fall asleep.

It was the next day and I was now walking on the shoreline of the water while looking for my siblings.

Once I spotted them they were huddled up in a circle.

"Hey guys" I say while sitting down between lo'ak and Neteyam. "Hey sissy" they both say while smiling "sorry for making yous worried" I say guilty. They all just smile at me and say it's okay.
