Your head rested upon your desk, which was engulfed with papers, most likely essay paper you had to complete before the beginning of school.

The only source of light was your dim, orange-like lamp that hung upon your small table.

The entrance of your bedroom door slowly creaked open as a figure appeared in the doorway.

Yunjin, she was one of your two roommates. Yunjin was an elegant, yet enjoyable one. She was smart and top in almost everything she did, as well as super kind. Nobody went unnoticed by the girl, not a soul could come across her with receiving a smile, wave, small bow or even a 'hi'. Everyone at the university has at least had some type of small talk with her, even if it was once

"Ah, [name], you need to get up and get ready, before you're late for school.. again." A black hair female commented.

Her soft voice was heard, but only to a mumble, as your consciousness restored.

You sighed as your awareness finally came to be. You pushed from out of your chair and stood up.

"arghh, did I fall asleep doing work again?" You whined. She nodded in response.

You stretched and turned, trying to relax your body after being in such an incredibly uncomfortable position for hours, you felt your body pop, snap and crack until you were finally comfortable.

"Alright," you finally said, "I'm gonna go freshen up and get ready for school!".

She gave you a small but genuine smile as you walked passed.

You seen Xinyan, Your second roomie, who was very popular, 75% of her popularity was for her loud, energetic personality which almost never had a off switched, but it was something you were cool with, seeing as you both had much similarities. Others seem her too be irritable and annoying at first glance, which wasn't true, as she could be chill and real at times. She was equally as kind as Yunjin but others tried to avoid her active spirit.

She seemed too be putting small pancakes in the oven, which were most likely freezer burnt, none of you all knew how actually cook so you guys usually just buy freezer foods you could put in the microwave or oven without much of a hassle.

The darkskinned female caught a glance of your drowsy state, "Heyyy! Morning Kiddo!" She shouted. Xinyan was just a few months older then you but still called you kiddo, you kinda got used to the term though.

You found yourself inside the bathroom where you started the shower, you made it a bit cold just to fully waken yourself out of your sluggish state.

You removed your former clothes and hopped in the shower, the feeling of the water against your bare skin made you feel refreshed, as if you were reborn.

You finally jumped out of the shower and dried off. Feeling like a whole new person, and frankly that shower made you excited for the day.

You put your outfit for the day on, wearing something comfortable and casual.(a loose shirt and flared leggings)

You exited the bathroom and sat in your kitchen, waiting for Xinyan too put out the oven-made pancakes.

She seemed too be wearing a dark red cami that went well with her chocolate-coloured baggy pants.

"Here ya go!" She exclaimed, as she slid a plate with five pancakes from her end too you.

Yunjin then joined and got her plate, eating as well.

Her white, knee length skirt and pastel yellow knitted sweater complemented her well.

You all finished eating and got all your supplies for your upcoming classes, walking out the door.

Your dormitory was close to your Uni, so you and the girls walked too school. You believed it was a good morning stretch and to get fresh air.

Walking, Xinyan just hummed songs on her playlist, You scrolled through your social feeds, while Yunjin just enjoyed the scenery.
