Harry came home that day from such an awful uni day, his exam went like shit, he felt so prepared and proud of his work but the only truth is that once there it all faded.
The questions were too many, too specific, too hard.
He panicked, it never happens to him: being the calm kinda guy who goes through things a step as a time always helped in those situations.
Well, that time it didn't and he felt such failure on his shoulders he only wanted to cry it all off.
But boys don't cry right?
So he waited till he left

He got home as soon as the exam finished, not bothering to follow the lessons of the day, he hated to loose them but at the same time he wouldn't have listened so why even to bother in the first place.

Louis, his best friend since elementary school, was there waiting for him on the sofa of their living room.

"Hazza! How did it go?"

He said smiling, he's always been so supportive throughout his life, Harry really was lucky to have someone like him by his side.

"Like shit, it was truly embarrassing this time"

"I'm so sorry Harry"

He said truly upset of how the curly guy felt

"I'm sure that no matter what you'll make it, there's so many other occasions to pass it, I know you wanted to do it right away and you worked so hard but I promise you will so soon in case you didn't"

He meant it, Harry knew it, he just really needed some space alone.

He didn't but at the same time he did

Did it even make sense?

Probably not but he was not in the mood to overthink overthinking.

"I'm sure about it Lou, thank you for being so amazing, you'll find me in my room in case of need"

Louis nodded smiling at him, he knew he'd always been like that, needing sometime to process when things didn't go as planned.

Harry was always really organised and hardworking, failing was not part of his being, that's why, the only times it happened, he felt that way.

"Haz?"

He said just before he left the room

"Just remember you're not a failure, never."

Harry nodded without turning around and then left.

A few hours went by and Harry still hadn't left his room.

The blue eyed boy had a good idea while he was eating his snack and couldn't wait to tell him: that's why he knocked on the door going in before he even got the answer he needed.

Harry was just chilling on his bed, his headphones on and music loud as hell, he took one off and looked at Louis questioningly.

"I had an amazing idea"

"Your amazing ideas kinda scare me, last time we were almost arrested"

"It was an accident! Ugh anyways, what about you go get a relaxing shower and once you're done I give you a massage? You always say you'd like to get one and even though I'm not a professional I did some research and it's not too hard"

Harry looked surprised but a small smile lit up his face like the first ray of sunshine after a storm.

"That's why you're the human I love most on this planet"

He said getting up and walking to him opening his arms and hugging him close, Louis was there when no one was, he'd never forget it.

"Go shower you little giant, I'll be here waiting"
