Chapter 18

Trevor's POV

Percie's excited, I could tell. With the way she was hopping on the spot, her eyes trained on the droves of monsters marching towards Half-Blood Hill, her lips curled up in a wicked smirk, as her friends fussed over her armor.

Soon she skipped to Alpha and shared a deep kiss before taking off into the air and diving down, Riptide in one hand and a long crystal whip in the other. It slightly surprised me how the whip was that flexible, but then again this is a Mythological world so anything is possible I guess.

Alpha followed soon after, his powerful legs aiding him in his slaughter as he plowed through the army, his dual swords slashing every monster in his way. It was oddly heartwarming seeing the couple working together. It was cute.

Annabeth sidled up to me, her lips pursed slightly. "What's wrong?" I whispered, my arm around her shoulders. She shook her head and leaned into my hold, her lips slightly pouted "The Fates have given me an instruction" she mumbled 

"An instruction?" she nodded, her face darkening. "I shall be the sacrificial lamb"

"...I'm sorry what?" she rolled her eyes

"Trevor, Eros is coming to Camp to destroy everyone that hurt Sephie" I nod, showing understanding "I hurt Sephie" I paled "Knowing immortals, he would end up destroying everyone, thus I have to take the brunt of his anger, especially since he seems to be the most emotionally inclined primordial" she sighed, tugging on her hair "I wish I could apologize and explain to her..."

"Are you fucking insane?!" I hissed "You're risking your life when it's that bastard Steve's fault!" she rolled her eyes "Does it matter? Look at Yeshua from Christian mythos, He gave His life for people that didn't even know He came to save them. He was blameless and pure, yet he took all their sins, all their mistakes, as His own"

"But you're no Christ"

Her lips twitched "I was making an allusion, Jackson" I frowned and she giggled "I'm immortal, I'll reform and come back"

"What if he destroys your immortal essence and sends you to the void?" I asked, anxious

"Then it's destiny" she smiled

"You're crazy, Annie" she rolled her eyes, and patted my shoulder "Can't you at least tell her?"

"Never" her lips pursed "I...I don't want her to look at me with pity, I wouldn't be able to stand it" then without another word, she left.

Me: "H-hello" *ducks behind wall* "It's been a while, haha please don't hurt me"

Haha, hey guys, lovely year isn't it?

I'm sorry for not publishing in almost a year :( 

But like, I kind of lost motivation for this one and instead focused on my other stories (which you should give love to btw, I promise you'd love them <3) I've also been trying to improve my writing, I don't know if it got better or if it's still the same, but I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
