"Our Secret Life"

Chapter 1: How It All Started

It all started in 1815 on a beautiful day in April at a little lake house in the woods... Both Steve and Arlena got bit by a mysterious bird... But before I spoil the whole story let me tell you step by step about Steve and Arlena's everlasting life...

The Lake House (1815)

Steve:

It's a nice wonderful day today and I plan on taking Arlena to the lake house tomorrow to celebrate our anniversary...

We have been married five happily years and I couldn't ask for a better life

We usually just celebrate our anniversary by staying at home and buying each other a gift... But this year I plan on making it different because we are hardly ever together...

Both me and Arlena has a full time job an we hardly ever see each other

But for this weekend I asked if I could get it off and she asked off to so this is a great chance for us to be together for a while, just us alone.

I heard some stuff about this lake house but I never payed it any attention... I heard that it's haunted, it kill's people, and other stuff that people always say.

I think they just say those things because the house is old and stuff but it doesn't even look that old.

The reason why i'm spending our honeymoon there is because we got a letter in the mail saying that we won two free day's at The Lake House and I can't say no to that.

Every year a random couple get's selected to stay there for two whole day's and I don't see nothing wrong with that...

It's now Friday and tomorrow is the day that me and Arlena leave to go to the lake house. And I just wait patiently for Arlena to get home because she get's off at eight and I just got off at seven thirty

30 minute's later......

Arlena Finally get's home and we start packing...

We pack our clothes, food, shoes, toothbrush, and other thing's that we will need.

It take's us an hour just to pack everything up I guess it took so long because Arlena packed three suitcases

Ha ha ha I know it's crazy and stuff for her to take all of that stuff but she's a woman and a woman need's to take everything when they go :)

I go outside to take a ten minute bath so that we could leave first thing tomorrow morning without trying to do anything.

I wish some scientist will hurry up and make something so that we can wash in clean water and not stand outside in the cold pouring buckets over our head and body to wash...

A thousand years from now they probably will already have something like that. But i'll never see it because i'll be dead

I get done and put my clothes on and head back inside.

I see that Arlena is already passed out asleep so I don't decide to wake her because she look's so peaceful there and I wouldn't want to get her mad.

We fall asleep but while i'm sleeping I see a bird outside my window staring at me and this bird didn't look like just a regular bird.

It looked like a magical bird, I go to the window to look at it but when I got there it dissapeared. I got shocked and said to myself " I'm probably just really tired from working all day and i'm probably just seeing thing's"

I go to sleep and wait until morning...

The next morning......

I wake up and see that Arlena was already awake and everything and she was all dressed up

She had on a gold dress with green leaf design's on it and she curled her hair. She look's so beautiful, I decide to put on a suit so that we can both look decent.

We go outside and get in our carraige and we head to the lakehouse...

It's going to take us thirty minute's to get to the lake house so we decide to stop at a Cafe store and get some breakfast so that we won't get there on an empty stomach.

The waitress came up to us and ask to take our order

Waitress: Hi my name is Lindsey, and i'll be your waitress for the day, how may I help you

Arlena: I'll take a waffle and orange juice

Steve: And i'll have the same I say

Arlena look's at me and smile's

Arlena: You alway's do the cutest thing's when your around me "I Love You"

Steve: "I Love You To" I say back

We smile at each other and here came Lindsey with the food, we ate and left because we had to be at the lake house by nine to be able to get inside the house.

As we're driving I looked outside and I seen the bird that I thought I saw last night and I got shocked and I immediately told Arlena to look.

Steve: Arlena look fast!!!

Arlena: I don't see anything Steve... Are you okay???

I look outside to see if the bird was still there and believe it or not but it was gone...

I lay my head back on the seat and just close my eye's because i'm so confused right now because there is no way that a bird could magically dissapear.

But then again maybe i'm just seeing thing's... I keep my mouth shut for the rest of the ride because I didn't want to say anything else that would make me look stupid...

We eventually arrive at the lake house in 15 minutes and it looked beautiful I don't understand why anyone would think it's haunted or something.

We get out of the carraige and go to the front door and we didn't see nobody, we just see a note that said this...

" I'm sorry I couldn't come out to give you this key personally but I had plan's that needed to be taken care of, I feel like life is really short, and it's important to enjoy yourself and embrace whatever comes your way, whether it's a challenging day or a great day, just welcome it with open arms. No matter who you are, you can't escape challenges; they are part of life, I hope yall enjoy yall's stay here"

That's a weird note I say to myself by I take the key that was taped to the note and me and Arlena go inside to unpack everything.

As i'm unpacking you wouldn't believe what I saw!!!

Hi reader's, I know your probably thinking "Another Story"???, and yes i'm writing another story because the trailer that I have made for this is on my school laptop and since school is almost over I have to turn it in but before I do that I need to post the video on YouTube and stuff, but I hope you enjoyed Chapter 1 of "Our Secret Life", I recommend everyone to read this book if your interested in the story so far because I have ton's of idea's of what to put in this story.
