Chapter 2: The Bite

As we're unpacking you wouldn't believe what I saw out the window!!!

It was that bird again... I quickly told Arlena to look and she seen it this time but she seen it when it dissapeard...

Arlena: What was that Steve???

Steve: That's exactly what I want to know... I have been seeing that bird since yesterday and I thought that I was just seeing thing's but now that you seen it to I know that I wasn't just seeing things, this is real life.

Arlena: Well just don't worry about it, maybe it just flew away really fast or something and we didn't see it in time

Steve: I really hope so

We got finished unpacking and we decide to go outside for a little swim in the lake just to enjoy ourselves on our anniversary

We get in the lake and it's cold at first but then we got use to it

We kiss for a little while and swim... We splash water on each other and we just have the best time that anyone could ever ask for in a relationship.

The lake is so beautiful and i'm really glad that we got to spend our anniversary here.

It's seven o clock and our hands are all wrinkly and everything... So we decide to get out and go inside to get warm

As we're getting out of the lake we see the bird again and it began chasing us!!!

I tell Arlena to run inside where it's safe but before you know it, the bird had jumped on top of Arlena and was biting her neck!

I ran over to the bird and hit it off of her and then it started biting my neck!

We didn't know what to do... We was bleeding everywhere and had to injured necks that had a really big scar on it

Me and Arlena couldn't get up! We passed out for hours...

The next morning 6:35 am

We start waking up at six thirty five in the morning and we didn't feel hurt at all.

We go inside and go straight to the bathroom to look at our neck's to see how bad they we're and we couldn't believe it!!!

Our neck's were healed!!!

We start getting scared not knowing what to do or what happened.

This couldn't be possible. We take a knife and lightly cut our finger to see if it would heal and it didn't...

This is so confusing... We leave the lake house and go to the nearest clinic that we could find.

We go in there and they check us and said that nothing looks wrong with us.

We go back to the lake house and we just talk to each other because this is scaring the both of us and if we tell anybody else then they'll think we're crazy.

Steve: Arlena how do you feel???

Arlena: Right now i'm really scared because there's no way that a scar that big and injured could go away just over night and especially without any kind of treatment or medication.

Steve: That freak's me out to Arlena but the good thing is that we're okay and that nothing bad has happened to us.

Arlena: What if we die in a couple of day's because of this... Or what if something horrible happens???

Steve: I think the best thing that we can do right now is to to move forward and not look back because if we keep thinkin about what happened to us yesterday then I don't think that we can move on with our lives and be happy

Arlena: Your right Steve. This stay's between us and let's try to move on and live a happy life.

We start kissing... and that took us somewhere else...

We lay in bed talking about starting a family and everything that we want in the future and we dont even feel like anything happened to us yesterday.

We go to sleep because tomorrow morning we have to go back home because our time here is done and i'm really ready to leave this place

The Next Morning

It's nine o clock in the morning and me and Arlena get everything and leave because we couldn't stand it here anymore.

As we get in the carriage I look around to see if that bird is somewhere watching me or if everything is alright

And believe it or not but everything was okay

I guess that bird is gone for good and I can finally live in peace, I think when I hit him he knew not to come back messing with me or Arlena because he knew what was coming his way.

We get home and Arlena decides to cook us a meal... I guess were kind of celebrating because of our arrival back home.

I guess home is going to be the place where we have our anniversaries from now on bcause we tried something new yesterday and it all went wrong so we aint taking any chances this time.

Arlena made waffles, bacon, grits, eggs and everything that I loved to eat.

She knew how to keep a man happy and i'm really proud to call her my wife.

We finish eating and we go to work

Arlena is a lawyer and i'm a doctor and we both make a really fair amount of money to live off of.

I'm really surprised I havent seen that bird because I usually always see it every once in a while.

I stop thinking about the bird and just think about other things like my future and what I have planned for me and Arlena.

I want to start a family with her because we are both 25 and we aint getting any younger so we should start while we can.

There's nothing that will make me more happier than to start a family with the love of my life.
