Author's POV
Y/n sat in her office while looking through Seojun's file.
Then a knock came in.
Y/n: Come in.
Nurse: Ma'am he's awake.
Y/n raised her head.
And stood up and went to his ward.
As she went in.
There a pale little 6 year old Seojun sat looking out the window.
He sensed her presence and looked back at Y/n.
Y/n: Hi.
He blankly stared at her not responding.
Y/n's POV
Like father like son.
He also has his father's cold aura.
Geez.
Y/n: I'm Doc Lee Y/n but you can call me Miss Y/n.
He continued staring at me.
Y/n: What's your name little one?
Seo: Jeon Seojun.
Finally he said something.
Y/n: Phew for a moment I thought you had partial muteness.
He looked at me coldly.
Y/n: I'm your friend here and not your doctor Okay.
He nodded.
Y/n: Wait here let me get your food.
As I turned to go out.
Seo: Where's my dad?
Y/n: He left for something Bunbun.
Seo: Bunbun?
Y/n: What don't you like the nickname?
Seo: I...No one has ever given me a nickname.
He said with a hint of sadness in his voice.
Y/n: Oh Well Bunbun I'm here now so smile.
I said smiling at him.
He tried but he didn't.
Something else is wrong with him.
Y/n: Let me get you food now.
He nods.
I smile at him and then close the door.
Time Skip
Y/n: Ah there the last spoon.
I fed him though he didn't like the idea at first but I insisted.
Y/n: Here is some water.
I have him a glass of water.
He gulped everything down.
Y/n: Woah easy there Bunbun.
Seojun dropped the glass and looked out the window
I sighed.
He seems quite depressed.
He's the first kid I've seen depressed in all my years as a doctor.
All the other one I have seen were mostly teenagers and adults but not a kid.
Y/n: Bunbun .
He didn't look at me.
Y/n: What of your mom I didn't see her coming in to check on you?
He suddenly snapped his head at me.
I was a little startled.
Seo: Don't talk about her!
Y/n: I'm sorry.....
Seojun came down from the bed.
And went to the bathroom in the ward.
Something must have happened to his mom for him to be like that.
I called the nurse to take care of him.
While I was heading to my office I bumped into Mr Jeon.
Jk: Miss Lee.
Y/n: He's awake now Mr Jeon.
Jk: Thank you Miss Lee.
He said and walked passed me.
Y/n: What of his mom?
I asked.
He stopped but didn't turn back and just walked off.
Yep something is wrong.
