Chapter 3

(Au/Nice Eclipse POV)

'What the!? How am I in the mindscape!? I was just playing in the tower a second ago.' I thought as I looked around. And to my surprise, I see Sun still in here.

"Eclipse, What are you doing in here? Did Lunar do something to you?" He asked as he walks over to me.

"I don't know how I got here, One second I'm playing in the tower the next I'm in here," I tell him confused.

"Agh, Lunar did something I know it!" Sun groaned.

"Lunar wasn't around me because he yelled my name telling me to come to him before I came here," I tell him.

"Oh? Then what happened? That doesn't make sense" Sun said as he finally reached me.

"I know, I'm confused as well," I tell him.

"Humm, maybe on your last checkup he did something to you? But what?" Sun said thinking.

"I don't know I'm still powered on... I think" I tell him.

"Hum... We got to figure out what happened and stop Lunar" Sun said trying to think of ways of how this happened.

I sat down and looked at the colorful clouds. I didn't know what or how it happened. A part of me doesn't want to go out due to, Lunar... He's mean and he hurts me. Sun was muttering something, but I didn't dare ask what he was saying. It felt like forever but it had only been a couple of minutes. Suddenly I feel pain in my cheek, it hurt.

"Ow," Sun said calmly as he looked at me.

"Y-you felt it too?" I asked confused.

"Yes... But what could have happened to cause- Aaaa!" Sun said before he started to scream in pain and fell to his knees.

As for me, I held on to my stomach since I was already on the ground. The pain was unbearable to take. I screamed in pain, if I could cry I would. Whatever was happening was hurting us. Luckily as fast as it came, it went away. Everything still hurts but not as much.

"W-what was t-that," I asked.

"I-I don't know, but god that hurt..." Sun answered.

I only nodded my head as I looked around again, thinking maybe something can help, but to no help, the mindscape was only clouds and a random image of a place... Wait what the!?

"S-sun look," I tell him as I pointed to the thing.

Sun, look in the direction I pointed at, but once Sun, saw it, it disappeared. Damit, that's not good... I think...

"What the fuck? What was that? It looked like... WAIT A DAMN MINUTE! THAT WAS AN IMAGE OF ONE OF MY BUNKERS!" Sun yelled, scaring me in the process.

Sun, turned around and looked at me, I couldn't tell what he was thinking and it scared me more.

"Eclipse, were you lying that you were in the tower?" Sun, asked me.

"No! I was! I swear I was!" I tell him timed manner.

"Then why was one of my bunkers an image here in the mindscape?" Sun, interrogated me.

"I don't know," I tell him being honest.

"Sigh there is no point on yelling at you... Hum... why don't you play a game and I'll think of something for the two of us, okay?" Sun tells me, I was thankful I wasn't going to be yelled at for something I didn't know.

"Hum... A-are you sure? I think it would be more efficient if we both pitched in and thought of something" I responded to him.

"True, but I don't want you overwhelmed by this, and it's much easier for me if I think alone," Sun tells me.

"... I-if you say so" I replied as I tried to get to my games just to only get some glitching effect witched hurt my hands.

"O-ow!" I yelped as I pushed myself away from it.

"E-eclipse! A-are you okay?" Sun asked me moving closer to me to see my hands.

"I-i'm fine, my hands hurt tho," I tell him showing him my hands.

Sun carefully took my hands into his own, gently analyzing them. It hurts but only for a moment. Sun looked out at me with a worried look making me concerned.

"You sure you're fine Eclipse?" Sun asked me again.

"Y-yes... I think..." I said now looking at my own hands.

"Okay, I guess no games then-" Sun said awkwardly.

I nodded as we both stood up and dusted ourselves off. Sun looked around probably to see if he could find another random thing in this empty place called the mindscape. What else can there be tho? It's only colorful clouds from what the naked eye can see.

"How about we walk for a bit, hum?" Sun and me.

I nodded as we both walked the endless landscape. Both of us just looked around like we would find something in this desert-like place. Sun's mind is so boring, but at least it's colorful. But after a bit, I suddenly felt pain on my cheek further from Sun.

"Ow," I muttered before looking at Sun.

"Today is not our day," Sun said annoyed, letting me know he also felt the pain.

I nodded as we both silently agreed to ignore the sudden pain by continuing on our walk. It was boring as neither of us talked. It was a noisy silence.

What felt like days were hours, but eventually something happened or should I say someone happened. Both Sun and I stopped in our tracks as we saw someone appear from above and fall.

"Fuck that hurt, why does everything hurts so easily, god I hate this," the person spoke, as they got up.

Sun protectively got in front of me, glaring at the person, both of us stayed silent like we did not want the person to see us, but it failed as the person looked around and saw us.

"Who the fuck are you! And what are you doing in Eclipse and mine mind!?" Sun, yelled at them.

"That's what I want to know," The person said unsure of themselves.
