Waking up could be one of the hardest parts of my day, next to having to see when everyone around me will die. Having to open my eyes and look at others, who unknowingly only have days left, walk around so confident that they were going to have a long healthy life. What scares me the most is when I see peoples numbers drop to the point where they only have minutes left. I have tried to help these people, try to tell them to stay with me because I could see that they were about to die, I sounded like a nutcase. So I've learned to turn back around and distract myself when the numbers dropped. Act like I didn't know that a poor unsuspecting person was about to die.

There was one person who did listen to me though and his name is Anthony Graves. He was walking across the road when I happened to look up and see his numbers start to drop. I immediately yelled to him to hurry up and cross the road as there was a very large truck heading towards him at a very fast speed and swerving, obviously a drunk driver. Surprisingly unlike every other person I had tried to help when their numbers dropped, he actually listened and started running. When he got to my side of the road he looked at me, obviously out of breath, and just smiled the most breathtaking smile I had ever seen.

"How did you see him? He was still quite some distance away but you just knew, how?" He said with a puzzling look across his face.

"Oh, um, I just have really good eyesight." Man I cannot let this man know just what kind of a freak I am. He's the only person I have met with a higher amount of time than me. He might just be the luckiest man alive to have listened to a blonde stranger.

"Well since I'm pretty sure you just saved my dumb ass from getting hit, would you mind going out to get coffee with me? It's the least that I can do for you." He said with a very hopeful look upon his face.

"Of course I will but only if you make it iced coffee." I said with a very wide smile on my face. I mean we're just going out for coffee, what harm could that do? Hopefully not too much he is kind of attractive.

"As you wish." He smiled back at me and did a mock bow before pointing me towards the nearest coffee shop. "This place has the greatest coffee in town I know you'll just love it."
