"Start of Summer"

Lexi's P.O.V.

Beep Beep Beep!!!!!! My alarm clock goes off at 6:00 am because I have to go to school. As I got out of bed I put on my "fancy" slippers my parents bought me because if I didn't wear them they would be mad at me since they spend so much on money on me. Even when I didn't like them.

As I walked into the bathroom and saw what I looked like freaked out because my hair was a mess. I got my brush and started to comb it and got frustrated and threw the brush across the room.

"Ugh look at this hair, what the hell do I have to get the stupid frizz out of it"

Just as I was about to get my flat iron out my mother came into my room with a bag of hair products and different hair things. There was at least 10 different products. So I walked over to her and said

"Why did you get me all this stuff"

"Because you need it and your my child and you should get the things you need"

"Okaayyy"

"Ok, so try all of them before you straighten your hair and tell me which one works best. Oh I also made an appointment for a keratin treatment for me and you on Saturday."

"Anything else I have to do" I said in a irritated mood since I stayed up all night watching Pitch Perfect last night at 12:00 am.

"No.. but your going to the dentist to get your braces off today after school." She said back in a aggressive tone for me not being thankful.

(A/N: srry i totally forgot the picture that she had to have braces on but just imagine she did)

"Oh yeaaaa thats right, Thanks Mom!!!!!" I said as I ran to hug her because I have waited 2 years to get them off.

"I'm so happy I'm finally getting them off because I could get rid of the nicknames everyone has given me, such as brace face, train tracks."

My mom then laughed and explained to me why my cousins and family gave me those nicknames because they all had perfect teeth. Unlike me I had the messed up ones. Then she left and I started to straighten my hair with all these new products. I started to get bored after a while and turned on the tv so i could at least do something because it takes me at least an hour to get it perfect. As I flipped to the celeb gossip channel.

"17 years old Ross Lynch was spotted in New Jersey while on vacation being chased by a mob of girls just two minutes ago while in the Freehold mall!!!!!"

Oh My GOSH!!!!!!! I turned up the volume to hear more but of course they change to commercial.I was so interested on Ross that I held the flat iron to long and burned my head as i winced in pain and continued on. Several minutes later I finished and my hair looked amazing for once. I decided to add some curls into it since I felt like being creative. Then out of the blue my phone got 2 texts.

From Harry:

Heyy hows my best friend doing this morning :) :0

Wanna go to the mall after school today because I need to get a present for Grace?!? Help me ?!? :)))

To Harry:

I'm doing great actually... and yea i can go to the mall to help you find a present for your girlfriend. :D

Thnx so much. I owe you, I'm all out of ideas on what to get her..

Yea I know the feeling that's like Christmas to me... gtg going to school now
