"People fear change. They fear the effects of it. And they fear the ones who are the change. So they resist against the unique ones."
The quote was one of brunet's favourite ones. One that defined his life well. A forlorn sigh evades the petite male. He could sense the shadows hovering about his day. Carrying a hope to not run into any of the black charms on his way to the lecture hall.
His half moon eyes downturned, soft brown hair dancing to the gentle breeze as he walked. His small petite frame looked even more tiny, in the large sweater he wore above the button up. He could be easily mistaken for a pixie, the brunet's elven features and the pastel colours of his outfit, made him even more elegant and graceful to the common eye.
"Where is your lapdog today, Your highness?"
The sneer from a tall boy, his hair a messy golden mane, two transparent wings sat gloriously one his back. His voice colder than icicles as he leered at the petite brunet. His companions snickering behind the blond. The brunet could feel the cloud of jeopardy descent over him. His day was ruined even before it began. Maybe the elven gods did hold some grudge against the boy.
"What happened Your Highness? Cat got your tongue?"
"There is nothing to worry Your Highness, we don't bite, we just want to talk to you?"
"After all we should spend time with The Prince, you are quite famous aren't you?"
Several voices laughed at the brunet, their glamourous words containing venom deadlier than Nightshades. The rogue band of boys mocked tiny man. A hand the bag from the boy's back, causing him to stumble down. The crowd just watched like audience at a musical. Some sneering, some laughing, some eyes holding disgust while some eyes were filled with pity.
A gasp of surprise fell from Hongjoong as one of the boys picked up his notebook. Flipping through the pages, his face contorting into distaste at sight of various theories and research done on them.
"A Goody Two Shoes are you not. Doing all the assignments ahead of time. Going too fast with your thesis with these notes huh? Think you are too high than us,* In Sindarin"
The spite was clear as the waters of crystal lake in his words. Jealousy burnt like the fire of *Calanmai, slowly he began tearing of the pages. One of the dark haired boy morphing into long talons, their sharp edges raking through the book.
"No, please don't, I plead don't damage it"
Hongjoong stood from the ground, launching his small frame at the dark haired boy. A vicious blow of wind pushed the brunet, making him roll into the stone filled rough ground. The pebbles causing small but stinging cuts over his delicate skin.
"Should have thought before bringing it then Your Majesty, how do expect us to let it be?"
Ruthless laughter fell from their venomous lips. Their eyes dancing with mirth at the petite male's suffering. Their laughter echoing louder as they took in the distraught look of the prince. Tearing the pages to shreds, throwing away the what was left of in the face of the petite male. Tears stinged the brown orbs of the young prince, as held them in.
The golden haired pixie came forward, his fingers digging into Hongjoong's chin, harshly holding the male's face in place. His eyes filled with disgust as he glared at the brunet.
"Aw, is our precious prince hurt, too bad the nurse is not here to look after you."
The boy's voice was condensing. Clogged with disrespect and mock. The blond raised his hand to force a blow at the brunet, when one of his companions held him back, the crowd thinning on hearing about the arrival of Prince Jung.
