if anyone knows the video game 'infamous' that's where I got the whole electric power thing from

Y/N's P.O.V

"You're worse than a hyperactive child." I mumble.

"You can't blame me. You're like an electric version of Spider-Man. I would say Electro but he's a villain and you not." Beyoncé replied.

I looked a little surprise. She knows her Marvel characters. Because she kept asking, I showed her my electric powers. There was a lot of different things I could do with them.

"How you know I'm not a villain?" I asked.

"You've had that power for years and haven't done a single bad thing with it. If you did it would be all over the news because you're the only person on the planet with that ability." She responds.

"Maybe I just haven't had my villain origin story yet." I shrug.

"You would think the fall of your marriage would be the villain origin story." Bey said.

"Hey it just happened. I still got time." I say.

She tilted her head and eyed me. "Nah I don't see it."

"Whatever. Just go get Blue so we can go." I say heading towards the truck.

The next place from here is Oklahoma City. It's only been a few days since I started this whole trip and surprisingly I haven't been sad. At least not how most people would after dealing with something like I did.

Much of that is because of Beyoncé. I was quite confused about her whole soulmate power thing but the more I thought about it, it made sense. Everyone is given a certain power for a reason.

At first I thought how could I be hers if I always thought that Diamonté is mine. Then I realized that she isn't my soulmate. If she was then none of this would be happening.

But I knew Beyoncé was telling the truth. I can just tell by her body language. I just don't want to immediately rush into something after calling off my marriage. Especially when I'm still in the healing process. But maybe it's supposed to happen this way. Everything does happen for a reason.

When she came back out with Blue, it was finally time to go. Dallas was nice but I'm ready to see the next thing.

"You know I can drive right?" Beyoncé asked.

The way Blue looked at her made me think that was some bullshit. Made me think if I'm actually going to let her drive.

"Can she really drive?" I ask Blue.

"Her driving is almost as bad as her cooking, and that's terrible." Blue answered.

"Well damn." I chuckle.

Beyoncé looked at the younger girl slightly offended. I don't like that look on her face. I sighed before making a decision that could possibly be my last one.

"You can drive but one strike and your back to being the passenger." I say.

I love this car more than life itself. Blue didn't look like she was playing either so this is major for me. She happily snatched the keys from me before going over to the drivers side. Not like her happy ass needed them anyway, its a push start.

"Don't say I didn't I warn you. God I'll see you soon." Blue said before getting in the truck.

I shook my head and opened the passenger door. I clicked my seat belt on before looking back at Blue, who had on two seat belts. I would love to say that she's being dramatic but she looks genuinely scared. It's actually worrying me.

"Why do you look like that?" Beyoncé asked me as she started the truck.

"Like what?" I questioned turning my head to look at her.

"Like you're afraid." She responds.

She started driving and even though it wasn't that bad, I'm still not getting too comfortable. "I'm not."

"You're lying." She said.

"I'm not afraid. I'm just staying aware." I reply.

For someone to be so scared, Blue ain't waste any time on going to sleep. I guess if we did happen to die, she doesn't want to see it coming. Or she just sleeps a lot, which I've noticed.

It's like a three hour drive in total, if not more. We talked for a while. Nothing super major just simple stuff. We laughed at stupid shit and vibed out to some music.

It was all cool until I got this tingly feeling. I knew exactly what it is. It's something I can't control. I'm about to have a vision.

Beyoncé and I stood on some bridge as we watched the water flow under us. We both had a can of something alcoholic in our hand. The vibes were good as we laughed. Our smiles reaching from ear to ear.

"I know things just went badly with your wife but I still don't understand." Beyoncé said.

"Things actually went badly eight years ago and I just didn't know it yet. But what don't you get?" I asked as I faced her.

"Nah don't worry about it. It's most likely the alcohol talking." She replied trying to wave it off.

"They say that's when the truth comes out. Come on, you can talk to me." I say.

She looked at me before turning away. Like she's hesitant to say what's on her mind. I grabbed her hand making her look up at me.

"Come on now Bey. What's going on?" I ask.

Her eyes locked on with mine and we stared at each other for awhile. "Just kiss me."

I took a deep breath as the vision ended. Beyoncé looked over at me for a second before looking back at the road.

"Are you alright?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'm good." I answer.

I've had enough visions to know that they happen the same day that I have them. Except for the one where it went in the past and exposed Diamonté. I still don't know how that happened.

That means what I just seen is going to happen later today. It's not that I don't want to kiss Beyoncé. I mean she's really pretty and her lips look very kissable.

But as I said before, I don't want to rush into it. But maybe that's just some bullshit. According to her I'm her soulmate. Why wouldn't I want to get straight to it with my soulmate?

I leaned my head back on the headrest and just stared at her. She really is gorgeous. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I know she could sense that I was looking at her.

"What?" Beyoncé asked not taking her eyes off the road.

"Nothing. You're just nice to look at." I say.

She blushed and smiled a little. I can't wait for this drive to be over.
