"It doesnt matter lilith all that matter knows is that you guys are here with us and that we will take care of you guys till the day we die and that is going to be a long way to go ok?" lilith nodded and hugged her brother and crying in his arms. "brother max... i hope we grow old and wrinkly" max chuckled and ruffled her hair "as you wish princess lililth"
she blushed in embarrasment and burried her herself in her brother's embrace. Few days has past and luke finally woke up, they all cleared the misunderstanding between them and they have been leaving peacefully until a noble's meeting that was being held in order to properly introduce the twins.
"brother max i really dont wanna do this..." Lilith said as she was looking at her in the mirror as her maids were fixing minor details in her. "It's just for a little while lili they will be gone in two hours.." max slightly ruffled her hair as she flicked his hand away "max they just fixed my hair stop touching it" "sorry sorry but it's just that you look so cute lili~"
"a-ah brother max, lili d-do i look good?" luke said coming inside the room with a full suit looking a little bit too much like the emperor atleast what lilith and the rest thought "LUKE~~ you look so pretty today!" lilith ran over to him and hugged him tightly "t-thank you lilith! you look pretty too!" he said and hugged her back as he looked around "where is father.?"
"Father is already at the meeting, shall we head down to the meeting office my little siblings?" they both nod and ran to hold max's hand and as they walked to the office they saw three little kids around the twin's age hanging around "What are you three doing in the palace at this hour?" Max asked and hid the twins behind him.
"GREETING TO THE CROWN PRINCE OF ATES MAXIMILLIAN ELLIOT DE ATES!" the three little children said and bowed towards them and max signaled them to get up "Who are you three and what are you doing here?" "My name is Alexander Varentia from the house of Duke Varentia" "My name is Riana Velval from the house of Count Velval" "My name is Angelica Senance my dad is one of the high nobles!"
Max sighed and held infront of them the twins "if you please excuse us we are supposed to be at the meeting hall about 5 minutes ago" the three of them nodded and made way for them to past by "may god keep blessing the empire of ates" the three kids said while looking at the twins especially angelica towards luke.
"That angelwika is weird" luke said as he looked behind him and lilith smacked his head "Its angelica and they seem like nice hope we can be friends in the future!" lilith said and max smiled seeing his siblings like theirselves is a huge improvement in their relationship. They get inside and see a lot of elder men then some young nobles in the mix.
Luke starts shaking a bit not being familiar with this enviroment meanwhile lilith smiled at everyone while she walked down the aisle with her two brothers. "STAND UP!" a knight said and everyone stood up scaring poor luke he ran to his father and hugged his leg not looking at any of the nobles present "GREETINGS TO THE EMPIRE GREATEST EMPEROR DAMIEN LEON DE ATES!" they all sat down after they greeted the emperor and the prince's and princess.
"As you may know i gather all of you to officially introduce the second prince Luke dietrich Skyrim De Ates and the first princess Lilith Anna Skyrim De Ates" the emperor said and carried both twins in his arms "Greeting to the first Princess Lilith Skyrim de Ates and second prince Luke Skyrim de Ates" the nobles got up and said bowing towards them in a respectful way.
"I hope the blessing of god is blessed upon the two prince and princess" one of the noble said and everyone agreed "If i may your majest i have a request" one of the noble's said and it was count senance "I have a daughter the same age as the two prince and princess i would love for them to get along"
"I also have a daughter the same age as the princess" count velval said "What is her name Count Velval?" the emperor said not caring about what count senance said "her name is Riana a beautiful and kind girl im sure they will get along" Count Velval said and smiled "What do you say Lilith? Luke?" the twins nodded because they already met them outside
except the fact that the duke hasn't said anything about his son alexander says a lot about him or maybe he doesnt wanna be arrogant lilith said in her mind. "Oh i heard you have a son Duke Varentia how old is he?" "He is one year older than the prince and princess your majesty" the duke said with his cold expression 'wow that looks scary' lilith thought.
Max just stood there confused since they are supposed to be talking about the preparations of the royal ball that is going to be held in a few weeks and how they are supposed to introduce the twins. 'I guess father really adores the twins' max thought and chuckled a bit.
After that it was over and all of them had left the meeting hall but lilith and luke stared at the emperor with doggy eyes "W-what?" "papa can we play with those kids tomorrow? and with rebecca and chris!" lilith said and luke nodded in agreement. "Are you sure you wanna play with them? i heard that riana can be a handful"
the twins nodded they are so excited that they are having new friends to play with and not stuck playing alone with the two of them. Yeah they love them but they also need friends their age "ok ok i will invite them personally so you guys can have playmates" "dont say it like that father... it makes it sound like we are still babies" luke said and pouted
"but you are luke, you are only 5-" "nO! im turning six in a few months!" then max butted in and asked the most obvious question "luke~ when is your birthday?" luke turned around to see his brother and smiled "it's June 14!!!" "who is older lilith or luke?" "I think lili is older but i am not certain.." "luke~ can i call you dietrich? or didi?" max laughed and luke shoved him
"so can i call you elliot then?" luke smirked and max sighed "then this will be between us only ok didi?" "i dont like that but sure elliot!" the emperor laughed as well as lilith while the two brother's started bickering "Well my children its getting late we should go eat dinner ok?" the emperor said and walked his children to the dinning hall.
"Father are you going to join us for the meal?" luke asked as he looked as his father still standing next to the table "being emperor is not easy... i have to finish some paperwork you guys eat with your brother maximillian and then go to bed after brushing your teeth ok?" they all nodded and he left while they were eating their meals.
