Chapter 1: Felix first whos next?

I stand there watching Faisel pointing a gun at the
last person I would have ever thought.....

Flashback

~A few weeks earlier~

"HELLO wake up ARIA!!" My mom shouted from the bottom of the stairs.

"You're going to be late and I cant afford to go to another one of those meetings again about your lateness, so at least get to school on time," she sighs

I walk down the stairs barely awake as my mom complains, I put my AirPods in and sit down, pouring myself a bowl of cereal, i usually eat breakfast but I feel like todays gonna be a long day.

Just as I'm about to take my first bite I hear a loud thud, i look up and see my mom glaring at me
"Hello are you even listening"
I pull out one of my air pods and reply all tired like
"Yeah you were saying"
"You have to pick up your brother from jesses house at exactly 2:00pm, knowing you, you'll probably forget so I put a note on the fridge for when you get back ok"  my mom says putting her coat on getting ready to leave for work
"Ok" i say replying back
"Love you" she says as she leaves
"Love you too" i pick up my phone only to see rainey aka my bsf called me more than 20 times in the less than a minute

Knowing her she probably rang me to make sure I'm awake and getting ready to leave, me usually being late and all. Even though I've only known Rainey for a few months it feels like I've known her for years.

RING RING

I pick up my phone and answer the call
"Hey what's up" i say
"ARIA you need to come to school right NOW! there's a fight, I swear your always complaining saying how you miss them so get your ass here" she screams through the phone
"Shut up I'm coming right now" i quickly reply.

I ran to school so fast I'm surprised I didn't trip and fall. When I get to the side gates I see a bunch of kids huddle around I try to push through the crowd to find Rainey but something else comes into view.....
I see someone on the floor as the teachers try to get to the moddle, i didnt see his face but there was so much blood more than I thought any normal person could bleed. The guys blood rushed down the pavement and i just watched i couldnt move.
He had been stabbed.
Everything around me started to feel surreal and i felt like I was about to throw up, thats when I felt an arm pull me away from the middle of the crowd, all I could hear were the teachers screaming for everyone to leave.

"Aria hey you good?" Rainey shouted
I turn to her in shock "what happened" i ask quietly
"I don't even know, I thought it was a normal fight that's why I called you cause you've never seen one before" she says sarcastically "but then it got a bit intense and the guy got stabbed" she says looking at me her eyes wide.
"Are you ok, you don't look too good" she say now concerned
"I'm fine I-" i try to reply but couldn't keep it in puking near a bush
Rainey looks at me and starts laughing
I look at her wiping my mouth "girl I swear you always laugh at the wrong time" i say mentally smacking my head
"Hey im sorry it's just that you said you were fine and then you spilled your guys out" she says still laughing
I shake my head and look up thats when I see a teacher coming towards us, and i just realised that we were the only students that didn't leave, i nudge rainey making her stop laughing, while mr Keane approaches us

"Miss Hiraki and Miss Kreed" do you not understand instructions please go inside this is now a crime scene and i dont want you two to be involved so hurry along.

I grab raineys hand and pull her inside the building "wait what did mr Keane mean" I ask rainey
"I think the guys dead" she said looking at me her face pale probably from feeling guilty for laughing before

"What do mean dead i saw him breathing" i question her
We both snap our heads to the sound of sirens coming towards the school, we look at each other and both decide to get to class, there's no way we're being suspects at a crime scene.
In class all anyone was talking about was what happened this morning, there wasn't one person that wasnt talking about it.
Me and rainey asked around to hear the full story because after rainey called me about the fight she got bored and decided to get some food which makes sense as to why I didn't se her in the crowd.

What we found out was not what we were expecting apparently there was a guy dressed up in all black wearing a mask beating up another guy who turned out to be felix from our class, thats when one of the students saw and called his friends to come watch forming a crowd, no one knew who the guy in the mask was but he was beating up felix pretty badly.
I don't know how I didn't recognise him maybe it's because he looked so lifeless and well I didn't really see his face as I try to get that image out of my head I heard that that the guy with the mask then stabbed felix and then ran away, which doesn't sit right with me, everything about situation feels off.

After class I just wanted to get some fresh air people were starting to irritate me with their so called theories about who stabbed felix, the worst one yet is that it's someone from our year who was trying to 'get revenge' on felix for selling drugs to his mate, only because its rumoured that the drug felix gave that guy was the reason that he died ehigg Co doesn't make any sense because felix was never charged or found guilty.

As me and rainey were walking outside we bump into Tyrone,
"Hey aria, hey rainey" he says
"Hey ty you getting some air too" i say
"Yeah the things that they're saying about felix are actually so messed up, they went from being on his side to hating him within a few hours, apparently felix got what he deserved because he assaulted someone" he says shaking his head.

Felix and Tyrone were really good friends from what I know but they never really hung out only in school "that's so messed up" rainey says as i nod agreeing with her
"To be honest I don't care what they're saying cause I know it's not true, what I wanna know is who did this to felix and why the teachers haven't done anything yet, there's literally a psychopath on the loose" he says now walking with us.

"I wanna know too I can't believe they actually killed felix" i say
"Listen I have to go but I'll talk to you guys later" ty says as he jogs back inside

The day ened early with people still talking about the stabbing im still suprised the whole school didn't go on lockdown. The killer supposedly ran into the woods near the school so they had nothing to worry about but there's still that feeling that something was gonna go wrong which is why they probably sent us home straight after our first period.
