I look at all my friends and family surrounding me. I'm so happy to have the people I truly care and love to send me off in my final days. My mom, bad brothers, best friend, and of course, some of my classmates.
"You never did get to show me how to make a 'water bomb'." One of my brothers, Max whines. Covering his eyes and sniffling.
"This isn't fair..." My youngest brother tries to protest.
"Life often isn't. " My mom says in her angelic tone. Her eyes are glossy, but she wears a proud smile on her face, "We love you Star."
"I love you all too. I'm so happy." I wipe some of my tears and look down at my tablet, then towards all the gifts set next to me. I smile, my lids struggling to stay open. I try to say something else, but nothing comes out. Everyone watches, but I shake my head. Saying there's nothing left to say.
"I don't want to miss your final moments." My best friend Kathy smiles and sighs.
"Mmm.." I could do nothing but hum. My body had felt weak for weeks at this point, but I honestly think tonight is my last night. I lay my body back with my tablet on top of my chest.
My classmates leave, my family just the only few behind and my best friend. Staring at me lovingly. I close my eyes. Slipping into a blissful sleep as I hear footsteps. Then the door clicking in place.
Then, I could feel as if I could hardly breathe. I couldn't move, and my whole body felt as if it's on fire! I try to open my mouth and scream, but it feels as if I no longer have a mouth. I try to get up, move, open my eyes, anything!
I hear my mothers voice.
"Pleade! Please my baby's in there! STAAAR! STARRR!"
She's screaming for me? She's sounds as if she's in great pain and distress. Then I hear sirens. What's going on?!
I'm panicking as I let out a silent cry.
