"Lin, the teacher said that she needs you to go get some sticks for the fire later in the forest," her classmate, Jina said.
"Oh okay," Lin said then she went into the woods to find some sticks. She looked around and started picking up some sticks. She picked up sticks for hours on end. The blizzard soon started.
"I should head back to the cabin," she said. "Before it gets worse." She started walking and was shivering really badly. The blizzard just kept getting worse and worse. She was shivering so much that her whole body was shaking.
*With Hanbin*
"Minji, have you seen Lin?" Hanbin asked as he walked over to Minji.
"No, I thought she was with you," Minji said.
"She's just outside in the blizzard," Jina said.
"Why is she outside in the blizzard?" he asked.
"Oh, I told her that the teacher needed her to go get some sticks for the fire later. I can't believe she actually believed me," Jina said with a laugh. "She's so dumb." His blood started boiling as he glared at Jina.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" he asked in an enraged tone. "You know she could die out there."
"So what if she dies?" Jina asked. "Then I'll finally have you to myself."
"I'm going to go outside and get here," he said as he put his coat on.
"Hanbin, that's dangerous," Minji said.
"I know but I don't want her to die out there," he said then he went outside to go find her.
*Back with Lin*
Lin was shaking so much from the cold. She had some frostbite on her face and her hands. She also felt like she had the flu. She just hoped that someone would come to save her from the blizzard. She passed out at one point and fell into the snow.
"Lin, oh my god," he said when he walked over to her. He picked her up bridal style and started walking back to the cabin.
"Hanbin," she said as she opened her eyes a little.
"You're going to be okay, Lin," he said with teary eyes. "I promise." He eventually made it back to the cabin. Luckily the teachers had brought a nurse with them.
The nurse treated the frostbite on her face and hands. He had been crying a lot because he was scared that he was going to lose her. She eventually woke up and looked at him.
"Oh my god, you're awake!" he said with a smile.
"Why are your eyes puffy?" she asked. "Were you crying?"
"Yeah I was crying," he said. "I was just really scared that I was going to lose you."
"Well I'm okay now," she said. "I just feel a little sick, that's all."
"The nurse said that you have the flu," he said. "How's the frostbite on your face and hands?"
"My frostbite feels okay," she said.
"The nurse said that the frostbite should go away in a couple of days because you luckily didn't get that bad of frostbite," he said.
"Where's Minji?" she asked.
"I'm here," Minji said as she walked into the room. "I'm so glad that you're okay. Me and Hanbin cried a lot because we were scared that we were going to lose you."
"I'm glad that I'm okay too," she said. "Did Jina get in trouble?"
"She sure did," he said. "I even made sure she did. She's lucky I didn't tell her off."
"That's good that she got in trouble," she said. "How long is the blizzard supposed to be going on for?"
"The blizzard is supposed to not stop for a couple of days," Minji said. "We'll be stuck here until it ends."
"Ah I see," she said. The three of them chatted until Minji went back to her room.
"How are you feeling?" he asked as he sat down next to her on the bed.
"I think I have a fever," she said. "My nose is also wicked runny."
"Your head is really hot," he said as he placed his hand on her forehead. "I'll go get a thermometer." He went to the bathroom and came back with a thermometer. He placed the thermometer under her tongue and waited for it to beep.
The thermometer beeped after a little bit and it said 104.1.
"What does it say?" she asked.
"Your temperature is 104.1," he said. "It's pretty high. I'll be right back with a wet washcloth." He went to the bathroom again and came back with a wet washcloth then he placed it on her forehead.
"Thanks, Hanbin," she said.
"You're welcome," he said. "You should rest more."
"Are you going to stay in here while I sleep?" she asked.
"Of course I am," he said. "I'm going to sleep now too so wake me up if you need anything." She closed her eyes and went to sleep.
*Many hours later*
Lin woke up and felt very nauseous. She went straight to the bathroom and started throwing up in the toilet.
Hanbin immediately woke up when he heard her throwing up and he asked "Lin, are you okay?" He went into the bathroom and held her hair back. After a couple of hours, she stopped throwing up. She wiped her face with a napkin then he gave her some water.
"Are you feeling better now?" he asked.
"Not really," she said.
"Do you feel like you're going to throw up again?" he asked.
"I don't think so," she said then they went back to their room.
"Remember to wake me up me if you feel sick again," he said as he laid back down.
"I will," she said as she laid back down then she went to sleep.
