Wind brushed past me as I stood high on the cliff, below me was the Akatsuki base,
"It feels good to be home," I breathed, the white shirt whipped around me in the wind as I inhaled deeply, three years. I hadn't been home in three years,
"Mimi, un?" I closed my eyes and turned to face the voice, a blonde boy stood behind me,
"Hello, Deidara," I smirked, Deidara was surprised at how much I had change, you could feel his emotions in the breeze,
"Its been a while, un," he smiled, I nodded and stared back down to the base,
"So it has, Deidara." I whispered,
"Why have you come back, un?" he asked, I sighed,
"Pein told me to come, since that incedent when the Akatsuki tried to kill me three years ago." I muttered, "But I bet you wont even touch me now, especially after I open my eyes," I smirked again,
"O-open your eyes, un?" he repeated, I nodded as I turned to face him again, this time he could see the red eye that was slightly covered by my side fringe, "The sharigan, un..." he breathed, I nodded and folded my arms over my chest,
"Pein wants to see me straight away so I'd better go," I mumbled, he nodded and stmbled backwards, I laughed quietly at his attemps to get away,
"Mimi, un?" he called weakly,
"What, Deidara," I asked,
"You're not going to kill me, right, un?" he asked, I laughed and jumped down the cliff, not giing him the exact asnwer he wanted.
"WElcome back, Mimi," Pein greeted me, I nodded and didged the embrace,
"While living with orochimaru, I learnt a few things," I hissed, stepping away, "Like to never trust you," I narrowed my eyse at him,
"What ever, the sharigan is an improvement," he nodded,
"Don't try and complement me." i snapped, konan touched Peins arm as he nodded,
"Its great to have you back, Mimi. really," Konan smiled,
"You may have been some sort of sister to me before, Konan, but I see the world differently now," I said, tilting my head backwards,
"At least the Akatsuki members wont try and kill you again," Pein sighed, i nodded slightly,
"Mimi?" someone's voice echoed off the stone walls, I turned and faced the black haired man with his blue companion,
"Hello Itachi, KIsame," I smiled, their eyes widened as I shifted the fringe out of my left eye's veiw,
"The sharigan."Itachi shook his head, "What did Orochimaru teach you?" he hissed,
"Nothing, I was merely a test subject in his little experiments," I shrugged,
"He d-did that to you?" Kisame asked, his fist tightening around his sword handle,
"it was my choice, he barely even sujjested it,"
"But still," Itachi mumbled,
"My choice," I hissed, Itachi sighed,
"Itachi, KIsame, why don't you show Mimi around," Pein suggested, "And you can converse on the way,"
"Fine, come on Mimi," Kisame smiled, I followed them through the narrow slit in the wall, the sunlight almost burning my eyes,
"Whats there to see?" I asked,
"Nothing, Pein just wants us to talk to you," Itachi shrugged, leaning closer to inspect my eye,
"Its real, Itachi, no contacts or anything," I said, shoving him away,
"Well you certainly adapted orochimaru's attitude,"
"Wrong, Sasuke's." I muttered, Itachi glared at me,
"You spoke with my brother?" he asked, Kisame watched with anxiety,
"Yes, I did." I hissed, "You got a problem with that?"
"Not at all, just curious," he snapped, I shrugged and walked on ahead with Kisame,
"Captured any jinchuuriki's yet?" I aske,d
"So far no," he sighed,
"You'll get one," I encouraged, Kisame shook his head,
"I dont know..."
"Shut up and stay confident," I muttered, he laughed,
"Thats the Mimi i know," he smirked, I rolled my eyes,
"I saw Deidara this morning, he was surprised to see me,"
"Yes, he didn't expect you to come back, no-one did," Kisame shrugged, Itachi was still following behind us,
"I know, the surprise in your voice made it obvious," I smiled.
