Dreams

That girl with dreams and hope
Wanting to do something great
To bring her life together again
To be the child she craved to be
To bring her childhood back
The one she lost finding answers for

That girl with a beautiful smile
Wanting to bring smiles to others
Stuck in an unknown place
Blinded by darkness
Hands all tied up
Fear caressing her slowly to sleep.

That girl so pure and innocent
Wanting to preserve her purity
Monsters with beautiful smiles
Wanting to take her raw
Can't help herself but
To be judged without empathy

Where did that girl go wrong?
All the calculations, all the plans
Of a happy ending
That she was supposed to get
Is all some twisted dreams
In some twisted plot.

Trying to put on a brave face
To fool the monsters
But failing miserably
What did that girl do to deserve this
All she did was dream big
Was this the price she had to pay
