My first year at Hogwarts

Diagon alley

"Come on Charlie!" I woke up to see my brother standing right by my bed with a trunk in his hands. "Alright teddy I'm up." I got dressed and helped Teddy take the trunk down. My parents (adopted parents) were ready to go. Today is the day I go to Hogwarts. "Good morning sleepy head." Ginny said handing me my pancakes. 

I was ready to go and Harry was taking me, Teddy, Albus and James to diagon ally to get our supplies. We all handed him our trunks to put in our flying car and head off. I was so nervous but lucky me and James were in the same year. I started to hop in then I felt lily give me a huge hug. She was gonna miss me.

We had arrived and Teddy ran off with Albus to meet their friends while me and James stayed behind with Harry. "It's okay to be scared James." He turned to James and gave him a big hug. "I will come with you." I turned and looked at them wishing my dad were here. I said my goodbye then ran off with the list Harry had given me. I looked behind to see Harry driving away and James coming to find me.

James had found me and we were now off to grindgots bank to get our money. When we found it        we saw Teddy with a bunch of his friends running of with a bag in their hands. Must just be their money I said to James. We walked in side and it was amazing the banks at home are lame and small but this was big and beautiful. It had big white walls and tall columns on either side of the wall then we saw the tall desk and little ears pointing out. I stood on my tip toes and saw a little goblin looking down at me.

He took us to a volt called volt 653 inside it had millions and millions of gold. James had a note on his pile and took it. I had nothing just a coin then I saw a little note poking out the stack of money I took it and got James. We went back outside and looked what's next on the list.

It had said wands and we looked for a wand shop. We found a shop called olivanders wand shop. We walked in and a man poked his head out. "What can I help you with?" When we told him we needed a wand his eyes lit up. "I have the wands for you." He walked down an aisle filled with wands and came out with a long box. "For you miss." He said pointing to me. I opened the box and took a long wand out. It was long with curved lines going around the wand and a tipped end. "We'll give it a wave." He said calmly looking down at me. 

I calmly gave it a quick swish and a bird cage in the corner fell into the desk below it. "No no no, definitely not!" He shouted carefully putting it away. Then he grabbed another box and gave it to me. This time it was short and plane just like a smooth stick. When I swished it it broke a window and I think it made James scream. "I'll fix it later." Olivander said. The next wand he gave me was    beautiful it had a long elegant swirl climbing up the wand like the first one but at the top were plane dots that glowed up rainbow. I loved it, I gave it a swish but this time it shone like magic. I knew this was the right wand.

Next was James try and it was easy to find a wand for him. "Here you go." Olivander handed him a wand it was the same one he had given me the small one, the plane one. He swooshed it and it shone in his face it was so pretty. He was only a little bit sad that he only tried one but he still found his wand so that was good. We headed of and looked at our list.

Next we needed a pet then some books but sadly we bumped into Teddy and his friends. "We thought it was nice to get you your books." he said handing us our books. Then one of his friends told us that they had also got our pets. They handed me a owl it was gray and had mysterious black eyes and beautiful white spots. Then gave James a owl, his was black and had gray dots and like mine had black eyes. "Why did you do that?" I asked disappointed we didn't get them our self. "The train is about to leave and you were so slow so we got it for you, now come on here's your trolleys let's go." Teddy ran of with his friends. We ran of after them and they led us to a brick wall at the train station.
