One soul is sometimes
worth a whole constellation
-Fyodor Dostoevsky

School. An educational building where children are sent to learn, however the teachers do not care if you are being bullied, having mental health problems or being abused at home. Why would they? They work 9+ hours to get paid a measly wage. Their job is to teach the little shits at East Valley High.

That's the speech the guidance councillor had given to the students, however none of them were listening as they were too busy talking. Eleanor, Demetri and Eli talked quietly until the councillor left. That's when the conversation of Star Wars came up. They were losers unlike the popular kids like Samantha LaRusso, Moon and Yasmine, and not to forget the best mean girl of them all Charlotte Le Croix. The classic mean girls.

Eli, the poor boy, had his head down when he noticed that Yasmine was staring at him with a smirk. She and Kyler were laughing about it, most likely calling him names.

Eleanor started towards them until Demetri stopped her before she managed to stand up "What are you going to do? You're tiny."

"And you're rude."

Eli lifted his head and let a small smile appear on his face "Are we still playing video games at mine tonight?" His voice came out small but loud enough that they could hear him.

"Does your mom have those tiny chocolate chip cookies like last time?" Eleanor asked. Demetri looked flabbergasted "They're store bought! They literally have them at the dollar store!"

"Anyway, moving onto a more serious subject; Eli, I will give you my rare Ironman comic for your limited-edition Captain America one." Demetri bargained; Eli hummed beginning to think about it before Eleanor interrupted. "You said you'd give me the comic if I made you those brownies."

"How will Eli be able to eat them when all he does is eat the batter? That's very unhygienic, you could get food poisoning and die!" Demetri scolded.

In retaliation, Eleanor threw Eli's apple at the raven-haired boy.

And as you can tell by the lack of muscles Demetri had, the apple had bounced off and landed on the floor, leaving Demetri with a puzzled look on his face. "Did you know in Ancient Greece, if you threw an apple at someone that meant you love them"

The trio looked towards where the apple was rolling, and it stopped just before a student they had never seen; most likely new.

"New kid alert." Eleanor snickered and Eli let out a small smile at his chaotic friends antics.

The new kid walked over "Hey... is this yours?" He held the apple out to Demetri. The boy began to sit down before Demetri had interrupted him "Woah! Those seats are taken; the table is really blowing up right now. The earliest we can get you a seat would be next semester".

"But they're empty?" The new boy trailed off, obviously confused.

"We're the most popular people here, Eli here gets more blowjobs than anyone, he's going to be the homecoming king." Eli blushed in embarrassment at Demetri's words "Especially from his girlfriend." motioning to Eleanor who was drawing smiley faces on Eli's hand.

"Don't mind Demetri over there, he's an idiot. Sit down new kid" Eleanor said whilst putting her pen away and throwing a grape into her mouth.

"I'm Miguel. Miguel Diaz."

"Demetri Alexopoulos. This is Eli Moskowitz."

"I'm Eleanor Reid."

Miguel hummed "I think I recognise that name... isn't your dad the famous brain surgeon? He's the best in the country"
