"Are you happy, Nami?"

His voice is calm, but strangely, there's something in it that makes my stomach uneasy.

Did something happen?

"You're just going to ask me that question after bringing me this late to the park?" I teased, trying to brighten the mood.

I stare at his back as his long hair flutters in rhythm with the wind. I feel like he still has something to say, but his silence is only adding to the coldness of the night, deafening me.

"I am."   I finally answered, smiling a little as I broke the silence.

Finally, he turned to look at me with his usual lazy smile.
"Then I'm already content."

He looks serene and happy, but the emotions he tried to hide didn't escape my eyes.

There was a tint of longing and melancholy in his orbs.

Why?  Why are you giving me that look? I don't understand.

The cold breeze started to embrace us, and at that moment, as I watched him shine under the moon, something inside me started to consume me.

My head started to throb in pain. My head is getting hazy as I see everything around me spinning. I tried to focus my eyes on him, but my legs only weakened when our eyes met.

"Nami?  Is there something wrong?" he tried to reach out, but I took a step backward. I rested my head on my palm as I closed my eyes, hoping that by doing so, the throbbing pain would vanish.

"Nami? " I felt his cold touch on my shoulders. "Are you sick? Let's get you to the hospital. "

"I-I'm okay, don't worry. " I managed to say as I looked up to him, only to get confused by the person standing and looking worriedly at me.

He has bruises on his face, and there are traces of dirt and blood on his shirt. Image that was too far from his looks earlier. I thought I was hallucinating but the coldness of his touch is telling me that I'm not.

Deep down, I know he's the same person who I was talking with just minutes ago, after all they have the same face and cold eyes, but something still feels different.

They are same and different person at the same time.

"W-who are you?" I whispered.

Confusion was written on his face, mirroring mine. He placed the back of his hand on my forehead. " You don't have a fever, "  he met my eyes.  " What's gotten in to you all of a sudden? "

I took a few steps back. I don't know what's happening and the pain inside my head is consuming me.

"Ha,  what am I gonna do to you?" I heard him say. " Nami. "

As if on cue, everything around me started to go normal. The throbbing pain started to go away and my vision started to get clearer again. I looked at him, and I see the same person who I was with before my head start to ache. His face has no cuts, and his white clean long sleeve seems to glow in the dark. He walked closer to me as he stretched his hand.

"I am R----."

---

My eyes flew open as the cold wind coming from my opened window welcomed me.
My eyes set reflexively at the clock inside my room.

It's midnight.

I always dream the same thing over and over again, but whenever I wake up, I can't recall the face of the man.

"What's his name again?" I chuckled as I clutched my chest.

I wake up every day with a hole in my heart. I feel like I forgot something...

really important.

I feel like I'm searching for something I've lost.
