It all started when we had to move into my grandma's and grandpa's house. The population in the city increased wildly, so they raised the prices of the apartments, that we couldn't afford. Of course. Three years ago my grandma died, then recently my grandpa disappeared . There was a solemn funeral for both of them. But no one knew how Grandpa disappeared."Now that we can't afford the apartments, we'll be having to move to grandpa's and grandma's house."my mom (Elizabeth) said in a tentative voice. "What! Mom you know that no one wanted to move into grandma's and grandpa's house! You know why? Because their spirits are still there! What if they changed to a demon!" My little brother (Joey) said in a shaky shallow voice. "Joey! Don't say that that's extremely rude!" I agree with mom, because it's pretty rude to call your dead grandparents 'demons'. I mean why not angels? Actually, if he though they turned into demons the only person they would target, is Joey! "Hey Joey we'll see if your right or not. Or even see them..." I said in a teasing voice. "Stop it Sof! Your scaring me even more!". Joey said, but I think Joey should get over thinking about demons and spirits. I mean come on he's 8! He's only four years apart from me! Oh by the way I'm 12 years old. "That's enough you two!"mother said, and of course we had to obey her. " Yes mom." we both said in unison. We packed our clothes, belongings and summer school work.We got into the transport portal and went directly to our grandparent's house. I got to tell you it's a really big house! It is actually extremely old! It's covered in white crackly thick sheets of paint, there's a colored circle window pane at the top center of the house, wide creaky stairs leading to the grand door, and a front and backyard. But there was one thing that really caught my attention. There was some sort of circle graved on the ground. It seemed to circle around the house, but I felt like something was there before. Something that died like... Dead plants! Yes...when I was really small I remember slightly, that there was dead grass on my lawn and that it was all shriveled up than the rest of the straight green grass. My Dad used to always say that I loved nature. I miss my dad. He disappeared when I was 7 and when Joey was three. He was a Nature Scientist, and so was my grandpa. The last thing he said to me was 'I have to leave before they find me! Don't worry I know you'll find me one day. I love you'. Then he left. It was really hard for me...Anyways I was the first one to step over the circle. All of a sudden a strong wind blew at me. It startled me at first then seemed to inspect me just like I was an intruder. No one noticed except for me. They were outside of the circle getting a good view of their surroundings and the house. Then grass and flowers started to grow on the graved circle! But neither of them noticed again. When Joey stepped into the circle the same things happened to him and this time more flowers and grass grew. "Hey Sof did you see that?" Joey said in a worried voice, " I though they banned nature" he continued. "Hmmm I know Joey it happened to me too." I said. Then our eyes shot at mom. When she entered this time the wind hesitated a bit, but then the flowers and grass vanished. "Strange..." I mumbled. Afterwards I started to forget about the circle bit by bit, entering, and discovering the spacious home. Thoughts infiltrating into my mind, and curious questions filling me up. For example: 'Why Wood? I thought they banned nature? And why is there green, massive and thick strings weaving thought the wall?' All of this seemed not really new for some reason. I knew Joey's face would be hilarious so I turned to him. Surprisingly he looked only a little confused but something intrigued me, that deep below in his mind this wasn't really knew to him too. What I couldn't understand is that we never visited their house, but they always came to see us. I tuned towards Joey, and pulled him upstairs to an old creaky door. "Joey isn't there something familiar or something that you know already?" I said whispering. "Yes this place needs some deep cleaning!" he said leaning on the door. "No silly! I mean like does the material used for this house seem familiar" I said. I was surprised that this seemed familiar when the only natural resource that I saw, that I remember, is grass and dead grass. Living grass and dead grass is a total opposite comparison to me. Living grass is ever so green and usually strait that blows in the wind, free and young. On the other hand, Dead grass is shriveled up and crackly, with a dirty yellow color, not knowing it could be free to blow in the wind. "Ya, maybe a little, but..." He fell back suddenly in a flash, the strange door wide open. "Joey!? Are you ok?" I said worriedly " Yup I'm fine, but where the heck am I?" He said. I stepped and looked on the floor cautiously not to step on Joey. When I found him he was on his back coughing, and brushing dust off. I helped him up and joined brushing off some dust off of him. Then I suddenly looked up and saw marvelous things, trying to cherish them for as long as possible, mesmerized, gazing in awe.
