I was awoken with tubes attached to my arms. It hurt to move. I looked over and saw no one in the room. I turned and looked at the time. 2:10 am. I push the button that says next to it. "Push if help if needed " I pushed it and a women in a White uniform came in. "Hi, Ms. Jameson?" I looked up at her. "Yes?" "You've been in a coma for a , couple of months now." She said looking at me. "What?" I said worriedly. "Does anyone even know?" I said trying not to move. "Couple of people do, yes" she said with a clipboard in her hands. "We called, Mae?" I nodded. "What did she say?" I looked at the tv. "She's on her way." I smiled. "Thanks. " I looked at my skin. Pale, sickening. "Another person knows, Nash Grier?" I nodded. "He's from school." I said staring at the white and light turquoise tile. She checked things on the machines.
"Everything looks good" I gave a light smile. "When do they give food?" I spoke up." I can get them to give you some." I gave a small nod and Mae walked in. "You finally come and check on me" I said being a bitch. "What?" I rolled my eyes. "I've been in a coma for two months!" I said speaking,not yelling. I was calm, very calm. "I've checked on you." She said coming to stand next to me. "Are you sure? Because the nice lady, said no one has came to see me. Do you want me to get that lady, again?" I said putting my hand by the button. A knock came upon the door. "Come in" Mae said. Nash walked in with a bear and chocolate. "Your awake" he said smiling. "Yeah" I said smiling. "I've checked on you multiple times" Mae said. The lady came back in with food. "Thank you" I paused. "Has anyone checked on me since I've been in my coma?" She checked her clipboard, once again. "Actually, Yes" " And who is that?" I said with a mouth full of carrots. "Mae, and Nash" I smiled. "Thank you" I said putting my fork down. She walked out and gave me a smile. "Do you believe me now?" I nodded. "Thank you for being here for me" "Thank you for checking on me too" I said hugging Nash. And also hugging Mae.
