Liz and Rendy first met at a coffee shop in the heart of the city. They both had been regulars at the shop for weeks, but had never noticed each other before. It wasn't until Rendy accidentally spilled his coffee on Liz's dress that they finally struck up a conversation.
"I'm so sorry!" Rendy exclaimed, grabbing a handful of napkins to clean up the mess. "I didn't mean to spill that on you."
Liz laughed, "It's okay, accidents happen. I'm Liz, by the way."
"I'm Rendy," he replied, smiling at her. They talked for hours, laughing and sharing stories about their lives. By the end of the night, they exchanged numbers and made plans to see each other again.
