She lived in the snowy mountains yet no one had ever seen her, until one alpha dared to set foot in her lands.
He was soon to be king but to be crowned he needed a wife/mate.
However those he saw did not stir anything in him or his beast.
So when he heard of her in the mountains he immediately set out to find her.
After many days and nights of cruel weather he found her mountain and a vast forest spread out before him.
Alpha Zepherus stared at his surroundings in awe but didnt see what his heart yearned for.
Meanwhile unbeknownst to him she was aware of his presence but couldnt see him due to being blind in the cold weather.
Her eyes were the creatures of the forest in the mountains.
They all spoke of a male that had come to claim her.
She breathed in deeply and took in the scent of cinnamon and pine freshly cut and it made her senses awaaken.
No one had ever dared set foot here and now an Alpha was here.
Sharaiyia held her furs closer as she walked towards where he was.
Upon arrival he saw her and asked " are you the one i have heard of or must i continue my search?"
The woman stood still as a statue and seemingly stared at nothing .
He moved closer until he cupped her face in his rough hands and upon further inspection realized she was blind.
Zepherus heard his Beast Orion say "Mine"
Their long awaited mate was in their grasp but before he could pick her up in his arms a cold harsh wind blew between them and took her from him.
He woke up and growled in anger .
She had escaped him and sent him home alone.
He got up and started to go after her again when a blizzard came up and stopped him from going anywhere.
Not being able to to anything about it he went inside.
Months passed before the snow melted and finally he could resume his search.
Back at the mountain and forest he and his men set foot into its snowy depths.
After a few miles they had to make camp for the night.
That night the wind whistled all around them.
Zepherus wondered how his Mate was doing and where she was.
Suddenly a fur cloak caught his eye and he followed it.
When he suddenly stopped he realized how far he was from camp.
As he looked around he saw a cabin in front of him and decided to investigate .
The door opened and he went inside.
Growling filled the air and he saw his Mate in a corner on a bed of furs surrounded by large wolves .
She held up her hand and motioned for him to move closer.
When he did the wolves sat up but didnt charge.
Sharaiyia tried to figure out where he was and asked " were you raised in a barn?"
Taken aback he turned around and shut the door.
Then he moved towards her and sat in a chair by the fire.
Zepherus felt out of place and didnt know what to do.
