Aether takes off his shoes along few layers of clothing and accessories of his outfit. He eventually calms his tense body with a content sigh when drifting off to sleep in the velvety bed he lays in.

"Get enough rest and get better soon." Paimon murmured as she takes the blanket from the bed and uses it to cover Aether.

In a dark void painted with stars glowing brightly in different colours, Aether found himself aimlessly floating in this strange new environment.

"Talk about a weird dream..." Aether uttered as he took a good look at his surroundings.

"Pffft-- this is no dream silly! It's a dimension! I guess... but I finally got through to you after sooo long!" Said an disembodied voice. The voice being recognisable to Aether.

"Wait what? Who's there? Where are you?" Asked the blond as he tried finding the owner of the voice.

The voice let's out a laugh and then suddenly whispers, "I'm right over here!" right in Aether's ear.

Aether flinched when the voice whispers in his ear from behind - now sensing a sudden presence behind him. The Traveler swiftly turns around and is greeted to the culprit for annoying him for the past few hours - the owner of the voice he'd been hearing.

This mysterious entity appears as a two-dimensional being split in half.
With one side being black with three grey symbols of the sun, and the other half was grey with three black symbols of a crescent moon.

His face resembles a half-moon face pattern, and his head is shaped as a cowl.

This mysterious stranger giggled at Aether's startled reaction before vanishing again.

"Hey! Wait a minute! Where did you go?"

"Heha! I'm still right here!" Said the entity as they suddenly appear above Aether. "Hey, do you wanna play hide and seek? I'll hide, you seek!"

The entity disappeared once again with an echoed giggle.

"Hey! Who are you? And how did you-- I get here?" Aether questions and the entity appears once more in front of him.

"You can just call me [N]! Also, you're in a little pocket dimension of the Abyss from the weird artefact I'm trapped in." Explained the entity, now known as [N].

"Could you maybe elaborate further about the artefact? You should know quite a bit, should you not?" Aether questions and [N] groaned as he floats around the blonde - form shifting into different shapes for a moment.

"How booooring! I don't wanna talk about some complicated boring stuff! Ever since my ex-best-friend left me, I haven't played with someone in foreveeer!" [N] whined.

Aether is instantly interested by what the other said. "Ex-best-friend? How long have you been stuck here?"

"For a looong time that's for sure! We spent ages playing her game, and that liar broke her promise. I want a new game to play! Hey, are you gonna set me free? Do you wanna be friends? Do you wanna play a game with me?" [N] excitedly asked as he went flying all over the place while shifting his form into different shapes.

"Well... first, how did you even get stuck in here to begin with?" Aether asked.

"That's a long story - I'll tell you later. How about you set me free first so we can have more fun as friends together! Pinky swear!" [N] exclaimed as they stuck their pinky out to the blonde.

Aether looks over at [N], wary. "I don't know... I'm not sure about this nor do I have a good feeling about all this..."

"Hmph! You need to have more faith in pinky swears." [N] folds his arms over his chest, "I can even do you a favour once you set me free!"
