Kenna's POV
Kuro's really focused.
He must really want to win.
"OH YEAHHHH" Kuro yelled out as he blocked Shoyo's spike.
Whenever I see it I can feel my face heat up a little, Kuro is so cool.
As the whistle blew signaling the set to be finished, the team ran over to me as I was twisting the top on the last waterbottle.
They'd just won the first set, but I can tell that karasuno is fighting.
"Maybe you guys should rely more on Lev? He's barely gotten any spikes and karasuno isn't marking him." I say, handing everyone a bottle and a towel.
"Good thinking Ken-Ken" Kuro said, making me blush slightly.
"Do your best" I said as they went back on the court.

Karasuno had just won, making this Kuro's last game on the court. He told me he wouldn't be playing after highschool so he seemed very devastated.
"It's okay, you'll get 'em next time" Kuro said, his voice low and happy, he always knew how to make everyone in the team smile.
{Back at Nekoma high} a couple of days later.
My pov
In the gym, Kuro smiled as he folded his jersey, turning it in. I could feel my eyes well with tears, this isn't the first time Kuro and I would be separated but this somehow felt different. Kuro would be going to college, and I would continue being the team's manager.
"Come here" I'd summoned the other 3rd years and as they sat Infront of me I could feel my voice waver. "I-I'm going t-to miss you a-all" I stuttered out.
"Ken-Ken.." Kuro started, His own voice quivering. And in a split second I was in a dog pile, the boys on top of me, crying and thanking me.
"You take these kids to nationals next year, alright?" Kuro said when they got off of me.
"I'll try.." I said blushing even more.
{On their way home}
"Kuro.." I broke the unbearable silence.
"Yeah, kitten?" Kuro responded holding my hand tighter, he's going to try and spend as much time with me before he goes to college, it's sweet but..
"How are you so focused on me?" I asked, "shouldn't you be more focused on getting ready for college?"
I always let my insecureties get to me, a unbreakable habit.
