I can still remember an old poem by Mrs Cecil Frances Alexander that I've always kept in my heart. The opening line stuck with me since I have heard the poem when I was six. It says, "all things bright and beautiful." That line opened my eyes which made me see the colorful world before me.

I knew then that I was, and still, meant to become a woman of ideals-to be a woman of substance. And since a vision without action is a mere unlit candle, I must start my journey towards womanhood of substance, or whatever it's called.

My friends used to ask me why I am doing almost anything to be a woman of substance, and I kept on telling them that it works like a mantra to me. It makes me feel calm and directed towards my goals in life. And I think it's like a moral obligation for a woman to achieve this standard, and the root of this is to help other women.

My life is spontaneous, and I believe in everything that I do. There are still plenty of seeds to be planted and more music to be played. Life is fast, and I should keep going. This is my vow.
