A couple of weeks went by, and Casper settled down comfortably in the now familiar house to Clyde, Alex and Serge. The kid felt comfortable around them, and had lots of memorable moments with them. They almost forgot about everything in their past. They forgot about their family, they forgot about Spark, and they even, for a split second, even forgot about the darkness.
They were ready to experience more, they wanted to experience more.
"Im just going to go out grocery shopping, do you guys want anything specific?" Clyde announced as he shoved his wallet and phone in his big black jeans. He was wearing a white tee, with a tan unbuttoned collared shirt overtop. Big jeans were fastened with a brown belt and tucked in the white top, leaving the tan one to hang. His wrist had a watch on it.
"Can i come?" Casper questioned. Clyde looked at them surprised. The brunette wore yet another borrowed outfit from Alex this time, being a oversized band grey shirt and black baggy cloth pants.
"Sure, we should probably get you some clothes for you as well" The light blonde responded, motioning Casper to follow him as he fair welled the other two boys.
The brunette prepared them self for the unexpected as the front door was opened, and Casper saw the outside world for the first time. Through a thin barrier of oak trees separating a street of multiple houses, all widely different, lots of warm, quiet bustling was heard through the branches. Multiple voices, laughing, talking happily overlapped one another as the Casper followed the Australian to a path made purely by multiple people walking along it.
peaking through the trunks of the trees that surrounded the chatter, the brunette saw multiple market stores set up, all in neat rows, selling various themed things. From fruit and veggie, clothes and accessories, to potions and spells, herbs and bandages. Multiple people, all different shapes, sizes and limbs roamed about the area. "Here we get all our things from markets. You'd be surprised how much stuff you can find at these things!" Clyde explained as he eyes Casper observantly, making sure they werent uncomfortable. They nod at the information.
"Spark told me he always goes to markets around the Inbetween, will he be hear?" Clyde shrugged sheepishly at the question.
"If he is, we can just pass him. I don't usually ever need to buy stuff from him anyways, unless its an emergency." The taller male responded.
The two finally made it to the markets, and Casper took in their surroundings cautiously, grabbing onto Clydes hand. They were eager to see all the new things around the place, though they still kept their guard up, just Incase. They looked at one store, seeing a goat like creature, white with brown splotches, making what seemed to be soups and porridges alike to customers. The smell was very mushroomy and herby, though it got mixed up with all the other food stalls smells.
The place wasn't that packed, and everyone seemed to know each other, getting a few confused, surprised and sorrowful looks Caspers way. "Ok, lets start clothes shopping for you, what do you like?" Clyde turned to Casper as they broke out of their observant state, thinking for a moment before responding.
"I like a lot of sage green stuff, usually sweaters, baggy clothes... um, kind of like Alex's style but more earthy colours and less bright?" Casper tried to explain as Clyde nodded.
"Right, i think get what you mean, theirs a few stories around here i think you might like, but if we don't find anything here we can always go a bit further out" The brunette agreed, following the male as they got to the first clothes store.
The lady at the countertop greeted them in English, a sweet hello from her raspy voice. She has slimy green skin, with long flowy antennas going all the way down to the ground. Her feet and arms were long and webbed, and her eyes were round, large and black. She was quiet wrinkly and had short, had curly grey hair, ad. Was wearing rectangular glasses and a yellow t-shirt tucked into a black skirt, adorned with a long white knitted cardigan.
