10 August 2017 ( 10:45 a.m. ) Cowes - military port

After been late around 2 hours, Y/N finally reached Cowes. However, even been late didn't scared off people from gathering near sea.

Vanguard: Welcome Comander! How was your journey?

Y/N: [ Jump on pier ] Good Morning, Vanguard. It was good journey, thanks. Where are everyone? In port are only 3 warships including me.

Vanguard: Ths base serves as reserve base for London and nobody is here normally. Do you want a guide?

Y/N: [ Laughs ] no, but if you want, you can join me.

Sudently Sheffield shown up.

Sheffield: Madame Vanguard.

Vanguard: Yes?

Sheffield: [ wispers to Vanguard's ear ]

Vanguard: Oh, thanks Sheffield! You can go back to London now. [ Turns to Y/N ] I have to show you something first.

Time skip: 10 minutes ( 10:55 a.m. ) - Spare parts magazine

As they reached the very end of the magazine, Vanguard opened gate with sign: " Grom-class destroyers ".

Y/N: No way...

Room was full of parts to his ship: from glass to guns and boilers.

Y/N: [ Looks on boiler ] It's brand new. What's story behind this?

Vanguard: When you became a Comander, Queen Elizabeth ordered us to look if we have some spare parts to your ship. What we didn't have, was ordered to produce it.

Y/N: [ Looks on rigging parts ] But you didn't look if it's still in use. [ Point on old rigging set ] this one is my orginal rigging, unused from late 1984. Somehow still didn't scraped.

Vanguard: You had a rigging change? Why?

Y/N: My orginal rigging was... problematic. It was good, but it was giving high instability on rough seas, so they chaned it to similiar ( but not the same! ) to J-class.

Vanguard: Modernisation wasn't cheaper?

Y/N: In planned long service time? Not really, because it was cheaper to order 2 more spare parts to J-class rigging than order other type for only two kansens... [ looks in corner of room ] Oh, there is old Grom rigging too!

Vanguard: So that's why there are two of them, I see! But what we will do with these? Scrap it?

Y/N: What? NO! [ Ugh... ] Just left it like it's now.

Vanguard: Your rigging, your rules. I hope that seeing this, made you happy a little.

Y/N: Of corse it does! It's good to see that I don't need to worry about spare parts. [ and someone cares about me... did they? I think so. ] You want to show me anything else?

Vaguard: No, but I will gladly join your base tour.

Y/N: If you really want...

They leave room.

Vanguard: [ closing doors ] So, where are we going?

Y/N: I'll go see administarion buildings now.

Time skip: 15 minutes ( 11:10 a.m. ) Main building - Meeting room

Y/N: [ Open doors and walks in ] Wow, nothing really changed here.

Nearly everything was like he was remebering it: Wooden floor that crackling, massive old table in the center, walls lined with wood, windows covered with curtains like from 70's office, old lamps on roof. Wall behind seats for fraction leaders and comander still had pictures of all comanders with years of service.
