Outside pov:

Teal walked through the entire city under the pouring rain. What's the point of that? He had to visit a sakura tree, one that was special to his eyes. He sat on the floor under it, and talked.

"-Hey Red, it's been a month now. I first thought you just disappeared but sadly something worse happened. I really hoped you were just playing hide and seek alone. I wish it was that..."

He marks a break to listen to the rain noises.

"-You know.. my chest hurts every time i think about you now. How can you be so annoying even when you're not here?"
He sighs, chuckling.

"-I have to go. See you next time."
He says before getting up and leaving.

Teal usually did this once a month, then once a week, but ended up visiting that tree everyday, no matter the weather. It could be raining, snowing, windy, sunny, there could be a tornado. Under any conditions, he'll be here. Same place, same hour.

14 February

"-Hey Red, happy valentines day. Some girls still putted flowers and chocolates in your locker, even though you'll never have them... I went to our favorite places and even brought you flowers."
He shows the bouquet.

"-I wanted to say something."
He marks a pause.

"I love you.. I'm pathetic, why do i make myself suffer like that? I should have told you that more when you were still there."

22 March

"-Hey Red... I'm sorry. I should have been with you that night. It's all my fault."

Tears roll down his cheeks.

"-I know it happened 3 months ago, but i.. i still feel guilty about it. Please, forgive me.."

23 June

He kept coming there everyday, even when he had nothing to say. It was his favorite place.

"-Red.. It's been 6 months. 6 months and one day ago, you disappeared. 6 months ago, i found you here, but not how i expected. Your dead body still haunts me. I wish i could have told you that i love you before you left."
He sighed.

"-A lot of things changed. Your sister started dating your bestfriend. Our captain will marry in a little less than a year. The Teikoku is doing well. Your father, this a*shole, burned all your things. I could only save two pictures, one with your sister, i gave it to her, and one we took together at a festival before watching the fireworks. My father went back to jail and he will stay there until his death.
