Hay naku, Samantha! Sabi kong wag nang makialam ginawa mo pa rin. Sabi ko sa sarili ko habang buhat-buhat ko siya papuntang clinic, nagfo-form na yung bruise niya sa left cheek niya, malilintikan yung lalaking yun sa akin pag nakita ko siya. DOA siya pagdating sa hospital, kala niya makakatakas yun sa ginawa niya sa kapatid ko. Once na nakapasok ako sa clinic, agad na inilagay ko siya sa bed and called the nurse, mabilis na naglakad yung nurse so mabilis ring naasikaso si Sam. I walked inside the washroom to wash my face na may black eye, busted lower lip, and an almost broken nose, I sighed and walked out of the room. Once na na-close ko na yung door nang washroom ang una kong nakita ay si Elise na nakaupo sa side desk na katabi nang bed ni Sam. I sighed and walked towards her, di niya ata ako naramdamang lumapit sa kanya so I tapped her shoulder, she jumped a little and looked at me "Di kita kakausapin akala mo." sabi niya, I silently chuckled and kissed her right cheek lightly before sitting in front of her. "Sorry na babe. Di ko lang talaga natiis si Evan." Sabi ko naman sa girlfriend ko. Okay, just to make it clear. Elise and I are dating secretly since last year, walang may alam especially si Samantha. I courted her rin for 3 months bago niya ako sagutin, she hated my guts too pero it all changed when we started opening up to each other. And mas matanda ako nang isang taon kay Elise, so kabatch niya si Sam. Elise looked me with worried eyes "Sorry ah. Di kita napigilan kanina, takot lang talaga ako." Sabi niya with a sad tone, I just looked at her and said "It's okay. Mas okay na di ka lumapit baka masaktan ka pa." She nodded and looked at Sam with worried eyes, I reached for hand pero biglang gumising si Sam. I looked at her "Tigas rin nang ulo mo, noh!" I said habang binatukan ko siya sa ulo, she yelped and said "Aray naman! Sorry na kuya, oh!" habang minamasahe ang ulo niya, I sighed and stood up "Bakit pa ba kasi ikaw lumapit. Alam mo naman atang naguusap kami nang mokong na 'yon diba?" sabi ko sa kanya habang dinikit ko ang ulo ko sa ulo nang kapatid ko. She smiled and said "Kuya naman eh. Alam mo namang ako ang malilintikan pag ikaw nasaktan and I promised dad na di ka na makikipag-away, pero heto ka o, bugbog sarado ka and—- lagot." She looked pale when she stopped talking to me, I looked at her curiously so tinignan ko rin yung tinitignan niya. Wrong move Lucas. Wrong move. What I saw is my worst nightmare, ever. Si Dad. Nakatayo siya sa tabi nang pintuan with a frown written on his face. Lagot ako, grounded ako to the max nito. "Hey dad!" I said nervously, di siya umimik naglakad lang siya papunta sa amin and said "Elise, you go back to your class. I need to talk to my children." Agad na tumayo ang girlfriend ko and said a quick goodbye to us, she gave me a small smile and left us with our dad. I sighed inwardly and looked at Sam, di siya nakatingin sa amin ni dad kundi nakatingin na lang siya sa bintana. I looked at dad again and saw that he is now sitting down in front of me, I gave him a nervous smile "So... What brings you here in school, dad?" tinanong ko kay Dad kahit alam ko naman kung anong pakay niya dito. He looked at me and said "I think you know why. You got into trouble again. Your sister got injured. You played "Let's kill each other" with one of my investors' son and YOU got suspended with that guy too." I put my hands up, signalling na I surrender na. Wala naman atang mangyayari kung magsasalita pa ako eh, since it will be no use to him. Akala ko tapos na pero biglang "Give me you phone. Yours too young lady." Sabi ni Dad with a stern voice, I heard Sam groaned and silently cursed. I looked at Sam and saw that she was holding her phone. Well, if she's going to give her phone I think I should to. I took out my phone from my pocket and gave it to my dad who was holding out his hands, I sighed inwardly and gave it to him. Goodbye phone for the whole week. I thought and walked out of the room, I heard Dad calling me but I didn't budge, I just kept on walking away from them until I got to my car. Nakakapikon naman itong buhay na ito. I thought and started the engine pero before I can even move a muscle again nasa harapan ko na si Dad ulit with a frown and disappointment sa mukha niya na parang di nag-age since 38 years old na siya and I feel like I'll be in hell for awhile.
