Charlie had his Ford dealership for more than 25 years, got married to Scotty Gale since after her graduation in 1965. They had three children, Fonda, Melissa, who died of hit and run accident in 1976, and Daniel. Daniel was born 19 years after Fonda. Scotty Gale died in 1991. Charlie died on Jan. 26, 1999. Daniel is with sister Fonda at the time.
