(Y/N)'s POV

"wake up" a voice said breaking you out of your peaceful sleep

You slowly opened your eyes and began to panic but when you saw Sam's face you relaxed and let out a tired yawn.

"Dinners ready." She said giving you a smile as you nod and got out of bed before following her as she guided you to the dinning room where there were 2 people who you didn't really know.

"Ah (Y/N), this is Amanda my wife." Daniel said pointing to the beautiful brunnett who smiled warmly at you.

"Its nice to meet you (Y/N)."She said softly before Daniel continued pointing to a boy who seemed to be about your age. "And this is anthony our son."

Anothony just glanced and said a short "Hi" before going back to his game causing Daniel to sigh before smiling at you "Come sit down."He said and you nervously did what he asked sitting next to him.

Dinner went well, you got to know them all and they got to know a little about you as you began to open up slightly even if this will never be your hone.

"Right we should probably go to sleep now." Daniel chuckled seeing as it was 11:30 already.

You all said your good nights before going to bed.

At first you couldn't sleep but when you did fall asleep it wasn't as pleasant as your first sleep.

~Nightmare~

"You worthless bitch. if it wasn't for you your mother would still be alive."Your father slurred as he threw his bottle at you and kicked you before grabbing a knife and pinning you down causing you to scream as he began to carve words into your skin

"NO! NO! NO! STOP! PLEASE STOP!" You sobbed

"(Y/N)!"

"GET OFF OF ME!" you screamed as you struggled

"(Y/N)!"

You gasped awake as your nightmare ended and you looked up to see Daniel, amanda and Sam standing above you looking at you worried.

"Are you okay sweetie?" Amanda asked

"I..... I..."You said between gasps as you couldn't breathe.

"Woah. Just breathe" Daniel said.

"I... I... c-c.. c- a..nt" you stuttered through laboured breathes

"Hey look at me" Daniel said sternly as your eyes darted around the room frantically.

You reluctantly and with much effort looked at him as your breathing was still erratic.

"Can you name 5 things you can see."

"I.. um.. Y-Yo-u, s-am, A-Amanda, t-T-he W-all, T-t.he lig-ht." You stuttered it became the slightest bit easier to breathe

"Good now 4 things you feel."

"T-The C-overs, T-The b-ed, Y-Your Ha-nd on m-my ar-m and um- M-My ha..ir sti-cking to m-y face."

"That it your doing great. Now 3 things you smell. A-Amandas per-fume, T-he smoke f-From the b-lown Out can..dle, A-And T-he covers- C-Leaning detergent."

"Your doing amazing now 2 things you can hear."

"T-The fan and your voice."

"1 thing you can taste."

"The salt of my tears."You said as you were finally able to breath.

"well done honey" Amanda said rubbing your back before she gave you a hug and Daniel joined in.

"Group hug." Sam sang as she joined in to causing you to giggle.

Maybe this was your home after all.
