When Nico woke up and said Ti amo I was confused at first but then i understood he was saying I love you. Nico was feeling better so I took him to the beach. I wore colorfully painted swim trunks while Nico wore his black ones. Nico laid on the beach for a while. I swam and eventually dragged nico into the water with me. We swam for hours, played beach volleyball, tag, and even had a picnic together. After we left I invited Nico to the Sakura tree that grew only once a year to unite demi-gods. He asked why we were going there and I told him I wanted to meet up with him there after the capture the flag game, but I really just wanted to confess my love for the son of Hades.

This was interrupted during capture the flag when the ground all around us started exploding, all of us scattering and being seperated from our friends. As a member of the Apollo cabin I ran around carrying the injured to a safe place, I mainly looked for Nico. After a while when all the smoke cleared I saw the son of Hades on the edge of the woods. clearly tired and weak but the beast that attacked camp was about to attack everyone else but Nico stepped in and shadow traveled the beast to tartartrus. Nico crumpled and fell from the exhaustion afterwards and I ran towards him and brought him straight to the infirmary. I couldn't help but cry realizing that he wasn't breathing and a single heart beat couldn't be heard.

I felt guilty for loving him and then losing him. I didn't know what to do except cry at the thought of my best friend being dead.I sat by his bed and held his hand, there was still warmth in his body which meant he was alive. I immediately prayed CPR would give him even a short second of breath, and it did except he touched my chin and tried to pull my face to his but I rejected and pulled away. I saw the hurt in his eyes so I kissed him on the forehead and told him to sleep until dinner and then we can talk about how I'm going to handle all of these patients. I treated most of them. I had to work over time to do so though, which left me tired and starved.

I got 5 demi-gods out of the infirmary but the others were going to be there overnight including Nico. He looked exhausted and deadly. I  would give my bones for him to feel better but he won't. He's lost too many important people in his life but I guess I have too.
