'I am absolutely going to murder Hanae.' Those were the words currently going through your mind.
It was just your luck that your friend,Hanae, had left her badminton equipment in your english-literature class.
Being the kind, aiding citizen that you were, you'd picked up her equipment with care, the intention of delivering them back to their rightful owner in mind. Her rackets were pretty expensive.
Problem was; you had no idea where she was.
It would have been easiest to assume she was residing somewhere in the Sports Building; most likely the Badminton Court.
Sadly, it did not help your case that you had no idea where that was. Not to mention that the previous class the two of you had shared in the Arts Building was on the farthest side to the Sports Building. Great.
That class was supposed to have been your last for the day! You had been looking forward to freedom after over-analysing Fitzgerald's 'The Great Gatsby' for nearly an hour and fourty-five minutes.
And so, now you trudged through the giant Sports Building, slightly annoyed and confused. In your mind, you imagined you looked somewhat akin to a little duck of sorts, waddling around.
You werent surprised that no one was to be seen in the Main Hallway as you scoured around, looking for any sign, or map of sorts.
You assumed that the sports students' schedules must have been somewhat similar to yours, and that most would have already ended the day and gone back to their dorms.
Though, considering how Hanae had told you about training during class, you assumed that wasnt the case for everybody.
After having walked around for a period of around 15 minutes, you huffed in annoyance, hand running through your hair. A habit of yours you couldnt quite shake.
Suddenly, a flash of rose red hair appeared in your peripheral. You turned your head, eyes lighting up at the possibility to ask for help.
You tentatively jogged over, bag slung over your shoulder as you approached the unknown figure.
The boy currently stood in front of the vending machine, his head of long, red hair facing you. As you got closer, you hesitated slightly, quite unsure of how to properly approach him. You didnt know him after all.
You hesitantly reached a hand out, tapping the boy gently on the shoulder.
Your eyes couldnt help but to widen slightly when he turned around.
Lovely, pink eyes stared back at you, reddish-pink hair framing the boys intricately delicate features. You hated the fact that your heart-rate sped up.
You were definitely not the type to go red in the face at the mere sight of someone. And yet, you currently found yourself struggling not to give in to your bodys desires, fighting the urge to flush.
Playing off the fact you were currently standing infront of one of the prettiest people- if not the prettiest person you'd ever seen, you cleared your throat slightly, gaze moving elsewhere.
'..Ah, sorry. But, do you know where the Badminton Court is?' You asked politely.
The boy nodded, hair seeming to flow with his actions. 'Yeah. Its on the second floor. Just gotta go left.' He advised.
Even his voice was pretty. Soft-toned, and easy on the ears.
You giddily shifted your weight to your other foot, about to turn away. You waved, and grinned in thanks. 'Thanks!'
You hurriedly ran away, finally letting yourself breathe after the encounter.
The boy, whom you hadnt even gotten the name of, stared at your figure as you jogged off. Unbeknownst to the both of you, there was a tint of curiosity and longing in his eyes.
You'd definitely piqued his interest, that was for sure.
He sighed, stalking off as he hid his reddening face behind his hair.
_______________________________After nearly crying tears of joy at spotting Hanae in the Badminton Court and returning her supplies, you were about to leave, thankful the day was finally over.
But of course, your beloved friend couldnt help but point something out, a slightly teasing expression on her face.
'Oh and, are you okay? Your face is red, y'know.'
The girl pointed out curiously, head tilted. Though, you saw the ghost of a knowing smirk on her face.
You subconsciously put a hand to your cheek, narrowing your eyes as you looked elsewhere.
'It is..?' You muttered to yourself. Though, you werent surprised you were red in the face.
You were more so surprised at the fact that someone could have that effect on you. As his face flashed for a second in your mind, you felt your heart beating faster, albeit if it was for just a fraction of a moment.
Just why were you getting so..flustered? You knew youd been reading too many historical manhwas lately.
'Yeah. We've been friends for years and i dont think ive ever seen you blush before. What happened?' Hanae asked curiously.
'..Nothing.' You replied unconvincingly.
'Nothing at all.'
