Missing children? Ethan repeated.

The case was never really brought up to the public,

How do you know? he asked.

I was the one investigating the case. I had clues and some evidence a few suspects as well but before I could get to the bottom of it the case was issused to be closed, she sadly said.

Whoa! You never mentioned anything about being an investigator, Anthony said.

I dont usually narrate my life story unless if its necessary,

But why would they do that? Ethan asked.

Influential powers were obviously behind it, she said and if youre given an amount that covers up more than half of what you earn in a year , why not?

They wanted to bribe you? Ethan asked.

Yep. Indirectly through my superior, she said. Well the story is quite long. The place where the people are supposed to feel safe is entirely something, she added going back to work.

Is that why you quit? Anthony asked.

Yes, she responded.

Ethan kept quiet for a while and thought about the whole thing before he finally asked Can the case still be re-opened?

The missing children case? she asked.

yes,

Well, petitions of different cases keep coming in everyday to be re-opened. The missing children should at the top of the list but its left to those higher authorities, she explained.

For how long has this been going on? Anthony asked.

The case or the petition?

Both, they replied.

Well the case has been going on for some time now. Only a few were found and as for petitions ..Im not sure, she said, but I can be of assistance, she concluded.

Really? Ethan asked.

Yes but first things first, take the exam,
